Agri-Business Child Development at Batavia is now accepting applications for a Teacher I to work with children ages 3 years to 5 years in a Migrant Head Start Program. Candidate is responsible for providing a developmentally appropriate Head Start environment and for overall management of the classroom. Provides training and assistance to Teacher II, Teacher II and/or Bilingual Caregivers and volunteers under supervision of the Education Coordinator. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and engage in floor activities. Must be able to pass a TB test, criminal background check and child abuse clearance.
Pre-School Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in ECE; Accepted: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 6 credit bearing courses relevant to competencies in early childhood education and experience working with young children.
