A car vs. cement truck accident is reported at South Lake and Junction roads. Injuries are believed to be minor. Pavilion Fire Department and Mercy medics are responding.

Do you mean "concrete" truck? Cement is a powder ingredient that goes into making concrete; as in water, sand, stones, and cement. All mixed up together makes concrete.

Ricky - It's only a guess on my part, but I would think that Billie reported whatever came over the scanner. If 'they' said "cement truck", then her reporting SHOULD report it as "cement truck". It's not her job to change information to what would amount to an assumption.

Who calls them "concrete trucks?" When I see Hanson's drive by, I think either "cement truck" or "cement mixer." Matter of preference, I guess?
