A man with multiple felony convictions who is accused of breaking into a State Street home and stealing several items while an elderly woman slept, won't get out on bail or bond any time soon.
Judge Robert Noonan denied a defense request to release Reginald M. Wilson, of 283 Seneca Manor Drive, Rochester, on $10,000 bond.
Wilson's sister was apparently ready to post bond, using her house as collateral.
"You're asking me to presume that a defendant facing a life-in-prison sentence because he's a persistent felon would care about his sister's $10,000?" Noonan said.
At which point, Wilson sat up straight in his chair and said, "Yes."
"That's a stretch," Noonan said, and Wilson slumped back in his chair.
Noonan noted that Wilson has 30 prior arrests, 12 convictions and 6 felonies on his record.
Two of his convictions led to state prison time, which means a third such felony conviction -- which Wilson is facing now -- means a life sentence.
A life sentence is
A life sentence is appropriate for this thug, he'll have 3 hots and a cot and medicaid too, a nice room in Attica suits him fine.
Good riddance. I'm all about
Good riddance. I'm all about reform and giving people second chances due to a bad choice but this guy has been given more than enough chances. He needs to be locked up for life.
I did a search for Reggie on
I did a search for Reggie on the DOCS web site, and there are actually four times when he was in prison, one of which is a rape of a 14 year old girl in Genesee county, I also check the sex offender registry and there he was! I have attached a link for you all to confirm the sex offender status.

and the link to the DOCS website is:

a little more evidence to send him away for life???
Whatever you sow, you will
Whatever you sow, you will reap. Or something like that.
Gary ~ thanks for the DOCS
Gary ~ thanks for the DOCS websight. Hadn't seen that one before. It's great that such information is so readily available. I've bookmarked it.
Mardell, It is a website that
Mardell,
It is a website that I use often, just be sure that you have the correct individual, because (as with Mr. Wilson) there can be many people with the same name, the only way I discovered this was the same guy is looking at his picture on the sex offender web site after finding him on the DOCS website...you can also check date of birth or county where the crime was committed.
The sex offender registry is even more important, and that is here:
http://criminaljustice.state.ny.us/nsor/search_index.htm
you''ll be surprised who your neighbors are!

This man (if that's what you
This man (if that's what you want to call him) needs to stay in jail for all the crimes and wrong doings that he has done. How many chances is he going to be given? I also believe that he is one of the two men that broke into my son's apartment on State St. about a week before the break in that landed him back in jail. My son's door was busted down and he was punched in the mouth. It is very sad that we can no longer feel safe in our own homes. These people are pathetic!!
