The intersection of Bank and North was pretty tied up this morning as construction workers were busy ripping out asphalt. Meanwhile, there was freshly laid concrete for new sidewalks along Bank Street.
Yeah, live right next to this for a while. It's ridiculous that the Route 63 project can happen extremely quickly (but be the most useless construction done that I have ever seen) but the Bank St work can take months and be more than an annoyance.

This city never fails to amaze me.

Bank street is a big project.
Ellicott was just resurfacing.
Bank is sidewalks, sewers and taking the street down to dirt and putting in a whole new layer of asphalt.
They're not really comparable projects.
