He was actually a pretty passive dog. I probably could have gotten even closer. He didn't mind me at all. A woman walked up to my truck while I was there and he just ignored us both. I just happened to catch this picture as he was trying to tear off a piece of meat and he lifted the carcass off the ground.

Now all you need is to get one of those vultures in the summertime having a snack.... yeah,after you left,the dog probably rolled on/near the carcass so he can smell nice when he returns home....I remember when our beagle used to take off,then come back hours later,fur all matted and smelly......
