Thanks for the pic Howard. My first car was a Galaxie 500. It fit 5 in the back and 4 in the front! My, my, time sure does fly :)

I love that car. I believe they had a 400 engine in it. Probably got 7 MPG too LOL !

You could pass anything on the road..... except a gas station.

Plus it's a ragtop!! Looks like a 1963, I believe the choices were 352 or 390 for engines, plus a smaller V-8 and a six-banger, but who wanted that when gas was 45 cents a gallon. If you like classic cars,as I do; There is a cruise night every Thursday evening in Akron in the summer, starts around 6. They close off main st. It draws cars from quite a ways plus the locals, I've seen some real gems there.
