With a great second half
With a great second half comeback, Rochester was able to achieve a tie in this very unevenly officiated match. The tie, though not as good as we earned, keeps us even with Buffalo in the standings.
With a one point lead with less than 5 minutes left in the hour long match, Rochester got a straight red card for a retaliatory penalty. This also resulted in the third penalty shot in the game. The Buffalo shooter fired it low and to the right, luckily it was too far to the right and went wide.
They then scored a point on a long distance bounce shot that forced the Rochester keeper to pop it over the bar resulting in one point instead of the three if it went in the net. From there the score stayed tied at 14 apiece.
Our next scheduled event in Rochester will be a half time demo of the game at the August 19th Rhinos's match. Come on out and experience the game.
I took quite a few pictures,
I took quite a few pictures, I'll post them somewhere and have Peter give you the link. I'm at work 'til 4 then have class until 8, so it'll be tonight (hopefully).
I stopped taking them when it poured rain, so I hope the ones I did take are in good shape.
