Friday, October 22 is GCASA's 11th Annual Awards Dinner at the Holiday Inn. Social hour begins at 6:00 pm with live music, dinner at 7:00 and guest speaker and awards at 8:00 pm. Millie Tomidy, executive director of the Mental Health Association in Genesee County is the featured guest speaker. The 2010 Award recipients are:
Leadership Award: Dr. Lalit Jain, Volunteer Service Award: Dr. Russell Marchese, Caring Community Award: Medina Area Association of Churches, Business of the Year Award: Tully's Good Time Restaurants, School Recognition Award: Kendall Elementary 5th Grade Team, Dove Youth Award: Maura Chmielowiec, Criminal Justice Award: Edwin Mileham, Special Recognition Award: Chuck Kron, and, Directors Award: Robert Balbick.
Each award recipient is working in their own way to improve the health of our community. The Annual Awards Dinner is a celebration of their efforts.
