The Batavia High School Class of 1959 will hold its 50-year reunion in Batavia this weekend.
The event will begin on at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 with a mixer at TF Brown's on East Main Street.
At 10 a.m. on Saturday, the former students will walk the halls once again as they tour their old school building. In the afternoon, the elderly duffers will take to the links beginning at 1 p.m. for a 9-hole round of golf.
On Saturday evening, the reunion banquet will take place at Terry Hills Golf Club starting with cocktails, from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by dinner, 7 to 11 p.m..
A Sunday brunch is also planned for 10 a.m. Sunday at Terry Hills.
Sue Schrader Dibble is the head of the planning committee with help from Mary Hulbert Tiede, Pep Johnson, Benny Martino, Marge Pann Dombroski, Sharon Smith, Mary Rose Stone Rademacker, Scooter Barone, Gary Schrader and Connie DeJaniero Moon.
Classmates will be coming in from all across the nation to renew old friendships at what may be their last formal reunion.
