The Batavia Business Improvement District's Public Market Committee is sponsoring the fourth annual Downtown Batavia Public Market, which takes place from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. every Thursday at the corner of Ellicott (Route 63) and Center streets.
Locally grown and made baked goods, fruits, veggies, cheese, maple syrup, flowers, herbs and more will be for sale. Jackson Street Grill/Belladessa's will be offering lunch, including food and beverages on sale from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The event will also feature free nutritional programs and information from Cornell Cooperative Extension, a vendor selling homemade Italian goodies, free child car seat inspections by the City of Batavia Police Department and other events.
