The Genesee Chorale, under the direction of Ric Jones and accompanied by Joanne Cole, is wrapping up preparations for their Spring concert, a presentation of Antonin Dvorak’s Requiem Mass, complete with full orchestra accompaniment and soloist.
Their first performance will be a unique one: the Mass will be performed at the historic Pillars Estate in Albion on Friday, June 6, in their Grand Ballroom. There, patrons will be able to enjoy complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 p.m. with the performance beginning at 7 p.m.
Besides featuring a full-ensemble orchestra, the Mass will feature renowned soloists Maureen DeGolyer – Soprano; Pat Fussell -- Alto; Mark Ross --Tenor; and Jim Ellison – Bass. The Pillars Estate is located at 13800 W. Country House Road in Albion.
