The GLOW Corporate Cup -- a 5K team race to benefit the Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, and Wyoming (GLOW) YMCA.
It starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, in Centennial Park, Batavia, located at 151 State St.
The goal of this event is for local businesses to form racing teams, compete in a fun atmosphere, and crown a winner of the Corporate Cup. Following the race is AfterGLOW, the region’s largest “office party.”
We encourage companies to set up tents, bring refreshments, and prepare to have a good time at this major networking function.
With the proceeds raised from this event the YMCA is able to fulfill its mission of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility in the GLOW region. At the YMCA no child, family, adult or senior is turned away due to an inability to pay.
In 2017, the GLOW YMCA awarded over $196,452, serving 981 children, families, adults and seniors across Genesee, Livingston, Orleans and Wyoming counties.
