Not a big fan our justice
Not a big fan our justice system in this state, but not sure this is a good example of the merits of bail reform laws. Get that's it's cheaper than holding him in jail until trial, not sure if the cost savings are going to be passed on to us. Think this law needs a tweak, though I could not be seeing the big picture.
He's already gone to trial ..
He's already gone to trial ... entered a guilty plea during trial ... released to be present for the birth of his first child.
lol Think of it this way, him
lol Think of it this way, him being on the lam is saving money too, no room and board. Over there at the other end of the State the D.A. Alvin Bragg most likely would Not have charged him with a crime in the first place. Won't be long before the Manhattan cancer works it way to WNY......
This has nothing to do with
This has nothing to do with bail reform. This is why judges turn harsh and have no empathy for defendants. I'm sure the judge in this case will have reservations before giving a defendant any judicial permissions again regardless of circumstance.
