The Daughters of the American Civil War sponsored a Civil War Ball on Friday evening at the Clarion Hotel.
The event commemorated:
- 200th Anniversary of the War of 1812
- 200th Anniversary of the Holland Land Purchase
- 150th Anniversary of the End of the Civil War
- 100th Anniversary of the City of Batavia
