We received this photo via a news submission this morning. No name was given, but the following caption was included: "Parts delivery @ Empire Tractor," and the photo was taken during Friday's big storm. Does anyone know the story behind this? How did this truck get in this situation?

wow, that's crazy. i used to drive that same size and model ryder box truck. nice how the drive tires are actually off the ground. could that embankment be a small creek bed frozen over? in trucking school they called it G.O.A.L. as in Get Out And Look. maybe the snow was blinding? bad day for that driver...
Sorry for the lack of info!
Sorry for the lack of info! It's the 1st time I've submitted anything and I hit the button before I was ready.
So.... We here at Empire Tractor get daily parts deliveries, Last friday during the worst of the storm, the driver missed our driveway. The front wheels went down through the ditch and up the other side. Then the rear end landed on the ground suspending the rear wheels in the air. Driver waited 2 hours for tow truck and was pulled out in 10 minutes @ a cost of about $800.00. We didn't hear of any damage>
