That is a tough and grueling
That is a tough and grueling two years.....congratulations to those who made it through.
Congratulations Christy!!!!
Congratulations Christy!!!! Knew you could do it! Congratulations to all the graduates!
Well, Tom Hunt... It really
Well, Tom Hunt... It really is NOT all THAT difficult! But... Congratulations to all who made it!
(We were currently the #3 RN school in the nation at the time. Not sure where GCC ranks anymore, but it was respected in my time there! )
Negative votes? What in the
Negative votes? What in the WORLD would prompt ANYONE to vote these down?!? (Unless, of course it was li'l Frannie reading them... Either way, If you have the "courage" to do a down-vote, please identify yourself so we can know who it is! (You didn't find the program to be too hard, did you? That makes sense, I guess! LOLZ @ downers, as there are dozens of "fails" attached!
Mr. Stone, I gave you a
Mr. Stone, I gave you a thumbs down on each of your 3 posts.....If this site would allow me to give more, I would keep pushing the thumbs down thingy mijingy until my fingers hurt. What arrogant, vile and slanderous posts! Sounds like you have a personal vendetta, which I guess is your right, but why must you TRY to ruin these graduates crowning achievement(s)? Then to top it off, you name names of students and say they couldn't make it without your help? PLEASE get off your high horse. They're more suitable forums for your rant....Craiglist rants/rave section comes to mind. If I were one of the aforementioned people that you mentioned in your posts(rants), I would pursue libel/slander charges for defamation of character against you. With a good lawyer, you might be able to get off with a "mental defect" defense.
Congratulations to the graduates!

The graduating class gets ALL
The graduating class gets ALL the kudos that can be given... PERIOD!!!
Go through the program... Some can actually make it, but not all!
I named ONE student who wouldn't have been where he is without me. Where is this incorrect?
Thought not!
I managed to go through it myself, as few commenters can offer of themselves...
Mike? Bea?
You went through it? Thought not...
Yes, there are REAL and personal issues with this program. Don't believe it? Fine... Manage to make your way through it, and you will have a leg to stand on... Until then, noise is noise
The other issue is that
The other issue is that someone who should NEVER have been put in a position of authority was placed there. If you cannot handle the fact that someone has intelligence enough to prove others are (possibly) themselves an idiot, you might want to look deeper. If you haven't managed to WORK your own way through, you have NO rights to try to "correct" me...
Those who made it? AWESOME! I'm just making sure that anyone else with a 180+I.Q. is not trashed by those who are inferior in ALL aspects.
Once you manage to make the
Once you manage to make the RN program at GCC look at REALITY, things might change... Until then, I will openly and actively challenge ANY idiot who is in the "staff" of the program to find out where their own professional integrity lies...
Easyyyyy John.......deep
Easyyyyy John.......deep breaths my friend....all Tom said was congratulations ....
The problem with defamation
The problem with defamation and slander suits is that those who want to bring them have to have some basis in reality in which to base their claim... My comments don't allow for that.
The 2 names I mentioned are quite factual, and would never go against what I said, if they have the capacity to be honest. Dan is a good guy... He knows what I did. Frannie knows, beyond ANY doubt that I am right. (Note that she is not there anymore) She knows that I would own her on any topic if there were ANY question...
I am NOT trying to take anything away from those who managed to make it through it, so you might want to make sure you are doing and saying what is right, as opposed to what is common... These people went through the wringer to get where they are... I am just making sure that people KNOW that not every one who goes there is given fair treatment...
Tell me what year you graduated from the nursing program at GCC, Bea and Michael, PLEASE!
John, last time I checked,
John, last time I checked, there was no requirement to go thru a program to make a comment on this site. But, if you must know, no I didn't. go thru it. What? Because I didn't go through the program, I can't comment on it because I know nothing of nursing or being a nurse? That's like me saying I went to college and was an English major and anyone else who didn't go through that program shouldn't comment because they don't know the proper use of the English language. Get real would you and while your at it, grow up! Do you preview your posts before saving it? You should, maybe you will see how ridiculous your posts are before publishing them. Oh, so because you say you have a so called 180 + IQ(now that it is funny)! So I suppose you are a member of the Mensa Society? So anyone below that and hasn't gone through nursing program shouldn't or can't comment on your say so. I say get lost and I'll do what I normally do with your thoughtless and incoherent posts......IGNORE THEM! If you're looking to get into a pissing match, move on and find someone else to bitch, moan, brag etc etc to because I'm not taking the bait.
I didn't say anything against
I didn't say anything against what Tom said
No bait needed for some,
No bait needed for some, Mike.
No... I never joined MENSA, though they started petitioning me at the age of 9...
An IQ really has no bearing on life. Simply stating that few have valid arguments which they can justify, and those who feel inferior will always do what they always do... lolz!
:-)
The school is capable of being unfair. Tell me where I am wrong, please... Not holding my breath, 'cause I don't wanna die of oxygen depravation... But seriously... tell e where I am wrong.
You cannot, no matter how hard you try, so shut thy hole, since you have no clue.
Do I have a problem? YES I
Do I have a problem? YES
I was unfairly kept from something that should not have been denied. This has had a HUGE impact upon the 23 years since. I am just supposed to keep my mouth shut about it? Don't be too stupid!
I know that there are others who share my pain... People of inferior caliber ALWAYS react the same way... Try to deny that FACT, and you shall not remain looking stupid for too long, as you shall be presented with incontrovertible facts before all is said and done.
Will I mention the fact that the GCC nursing program has issues? Absolutely, and you do NOT have facts that can negate my information, no matter how superior you want to make yourself feel...
Still, this does NOT take away from those who made it through, and I am sure that a few of them will agree with me! Know thy facts, or know that thou shouldest remain silent!
(Just an FYI... There ARE
(Just an FYI... There ARE people who wouldn't have made it without me!

Wow.....I think someone needs a hug.
Group hug!!!...
Group hug!!!...
John, Creditability is far
John, Creditability is far too valuable a thing to squander, perhaps you should check your account balance.
Congratulations and good luck
Congratulations and good luck to all the graduates now entering one of the most giving occupations and one that all too often is taken for granted.
Like Sergeants are the backbone of the military, nurses are the backbone of the medical field. No matter what irrelevant and personal aversion to the program posted, I feel safe in saying that almost all of the readers here recognize your achievement.
Congrats to the graduates. It
Congrats to the graduates. It is an accomplishment, despite what some may claim is not.
" Well, Tom Hunt... It really is NOT all THAT difficult! "....As pontificated by our intellectual superior, John Stoner.
Just a foot note to my
Just a foot note to my opening remark: My ex wife went through the program many years ago. She was in the first of second class at GCC. I saw both the academic requirements and most importantly the proper mind set required for this profession. Some people could cut it academically, but did not have the necessary attitude of caring for their fellow man and were washed out of the program.
I'm very proud of my son who
I'm very proud of my son who gradated in that class. I am also very grateful to the school and the teachers who helped him along the way.
John, I gave you a thumbs
John, I gave you a thumbs down. To say the program was not that hard was stupid and not true. And vague reference to being denied something vague taking credit for things diminishes your credibility more than before.
Congratulations to all who made it.
It wasn't that hard... for
It wasn't that hard... for me. I was immersed in the medical field for as long as I can remember. Let's say you are a plumber. Don't you think your kids will have a good understanding of plumbing, having grown up with a parent who discusses it frequently? Now have both parents living it and discussing it... then toss in three career nurses into the mix. Yeah, for me, it was not too difficult. THIS is the problem that said instructor had with me. She hated that I didn't struggle. It was as simple as that. (Y'all need to understand that not all people who attain a certain level of authority over others actually belong there, and this shows in their treatment of others. It's pretty standard human psychology.)
I do understand that many people had great difficulty making it through, and with me being who I am, (concerned for the well-being of others) I spent many hours every week doing what I could for my classmates, as this is the right thing to do (for most of us, anyways)
I congratulated those who graduated, as they richly deserve. My intent has NEVER been to take anything from their accomplishments. Misinterpretation and egos have evidently allowed some to take my comment in the wrong light. For that I apologize. It's tough to always remember that some folks can't seem to acknowledge that a frog might actually have warts. Everything has to be peachy and ideal for people to be happy about it. (Maybe that's why I understand that political correctness will be what destroys the constitution, thus is NOT a good thing...)
John roach. I find it quite intriguing that you have knowledge of the inner workings of another person's mind... Utterly amazing! Can you show us how you do that, please? (and you want to assail MY credibility? beyond laughable!)
John......toads have warts,
John......toads have warts, not frogs. But that being said and credibility aside. No one here is diving into the inner workings of your mind. Its all just observational knowledge just gleaned from your own posts, I'm sure your next step will be to delete your posts so that more people cant come to the same conclusion.... But anyway Merry Christmas and have a blessed new year as well.
"Misinterpretation and egos
"Misinterpretation and egos have evidently allowed some to take my comment in the wrong light."
The only EGO that seems to have been shinning through in this entire thread was that shown in your post.
Your congratulations to the graduates and then almost immediate claim of credit for tutelage was akin to giving a child a piece of candy then immediately scolding them for attempting to eat it.
But in any event, may the Joy of Christmas be yours
Actually, John (and Kyle),
Actually, John (and Kyle), neither frogs/toads HAVE warts. The old saying is that touching/kissing a frog/toad may GIVE you said warts. NOT that they HAVE them themselves. The so-called warts on amphibians are simply glands, not warts.
I would've thought that John's self-proclaimed extensive knowledge of physiology would've precluded him from saying otherwise. Maybe you were daydreaming when warts were being discussed over the dinner table.
Oh, before you ask why someone would even think a frog/toad could give you something it doesn't actually have itself, I think (maybe) I've figured that out, too.
John's posts gave me a massive headache, but I'm guessing he didn't have a headache when he was writing it. Hence, I guess some things CAN just be given without the owner of said thing possessing it.
Anyways, to you all out there, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and to all, a GOOD NIGHT!
