There is a water main break on Oak Street near Park Road, according to Matt Worth, superintendent of Water and Wastewater. Residents on Oak Street and Union Street north to the city line are effected. Crews are on site beginning repairs.
seems the watermain breaks are getting fairly common lately.... next will be the closing of the bridges, however from what I have heard, Batavia's new airport is going to be the cat's meow.
you got to love the political logic, $5 million for an airport for 3 or 4 corporate jets a week while the rest of us have to put up with faulty, outdated infrastructure.
Tax cap waiver will be in budget next time around.
