I'm sorry, but, personally, I fail to see the draw of a $350-to-thousands-of-$$$ watch/computer which lasts UP TO a "whopping" 18-hours before it needs charging.
But, let's face it. In todays world of BLING, if you package something with a pretty face on the cover and label it "Nature's Nutrients", you can sell a bag of poop to people.
Not $349 interested, but I am
Not $349 interested, but I am interested in the concept.
Not just no, hell no.
Not just no, hell no.

In modern day Society our daily lives are surrounded by computer of all types. From the moment you open your eyes in the morning to the sound of your automatic alarm clock to the TV remote you use to watch the early morning news All your banking and bill paying to the gas you put into your automobile is computer controlled. Enough is enough. I don't need another computer hanging on my wrist. Besides the form factor is too small for these aging eyes.
I am 70,,,, No i do not need
I am 70,,,, No i do not need or want an apple watch. I am however smart enough to know what an amazing time we are living in. I am an old person who realizes the importance of my cell phone and the two computers i have running side by side. The only other time i would have liked is,, Turn of the century, when people probably said,,, they didn't need a noisy, smoky horseless carriage. or them flyin machines.
Billie, the apple watch is
Billie, the apple watch is just a little cog in the wheel of advancement. There might be no Batavian if Steve Jobs and Bill Gates ,,took their parents advice and quit that foolishness!!
Not only that, Tom, but a
Not only that, Tom, but a talk-show host was saying how it was like Dick Tracy's watch.
The co-host said, "Yeah, except you can't make a phone call with the Apple watch".
To which the host said, "Well, yes you can, because it will connect with the cell phone in your pocket!"
Well, DUH!! In that case, why not just use the cell phone in the first place? My thinking is, save the 35,000-cents, and exercise common sense.
One has to ask one's self,
One has to ask one's self, don't we have enough gadgets that distract us as it is?

Not suggesting it is a good deal, except it is a good deal cheaper than $349.
Though Apple will get credit
Though Apple will get credit for their "amazing" innovations, these watches have actually existed for years and Apple is a little behind. I have the Samsung Gear S and it does all the things that the Apple watch has announced that it does. There are many others out there too but as I said Apple will get all the credit for the old technology :-)
oh, and the Samsung Gear S has its own phone number and can be used without the phone or if you leave your phone at home, it will connect to it remotely through the network and you can still call or text from your phone with it at home. don't think the Apple watch has that capability.
I can barely read the screen
I can barely read the screen on my phone. I'd need a magnifying glass.
