This evening, Wednesday July 22, the Batavia Concert Band's fourth concert of the 2015 season will be in Centennial Park, beginning at 7 o'clock. Great weather for an outdoor concert is predicted, so bring the family, your favorite friend(s), some chairs or a blanket, and enjoy! Light refreshments will be available.
Tonight's concert features John Bailey conducting this Summer's largest Batavia Concert Band group of musicians yet assembled, performing old and new favorites including some high-sprited and challenging works the Band is excited to play for the first time. Feature pieces in tonight’s concert include a Frank Sinatra medley, music from films “Aladdin” and “Jurassic Park,” and some classic marches...just to name a few!
Concerts continue every Wednesday evening in July, at Batavia's Centennial Park. Downbeat is 7 p.m. sharp.
