Batavia Varsity Lacrosse is proud to present its 1st annual lacrosse camp running from Monday August 3rd to Thursday August 6th. The camp is for boys and girls ages 6 to 14. The camp will be located at John Kennedy Elementary School and the staff includes the Batavia Varsity coaching staff, current varsity players, alumni & current college players.
The cost of the camp is $75, registration deadline is July 27th. The players will be given a lacrosse stick at the opening session. The campers will also receive camp apparel. Blue Bison Sports will be sponsoring the event and will be giving away equipment and apparel to all participants.
"We encourage all area athletes and lacrosse players to attend. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the United States and is becoming more and more popular in our area. We are in the process of developing our youth lacrosse program and this camp will be the starting point. We encourage beginners and advanced players. No camp around provides a player with a lacrosse stick. Our hope is to build the youth lacrosse program in our area and provide each player with the skills and fundamentals to begin and or continue their lacrosse careers." - Varsity Head Coach Chuck Hammon
