He was born February 3, 1950 in Warsaw, NY, a son of the late Burdett and Lillian Hare Galton.
Alan was a truck driver for Laidlaw Transit in Batavia prior to his retirement. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and fishing. He will be missed dearly by those who knew him.
Survivors include his children, Alan (Kim) Galton Jr. of Caledonia and Vanessa (William) Dempsey of Stafford. Grandchildren, Cody Galton, Michael Galton and Owen Galton. Former wife, Mary Fay of Batavia. Sisters, Darlene Gray of Warsaw and Julie (John) Lawson of Pembroke. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Gloria McKenzie, Charlotte Galton and Eric Galton.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
