She was born October 16, 1951 in Rochester, NY, a daughter of the late Clarence and Loretta Elam.
Laura was a L.P.N. and also enjoyed reading, cooking and playing bingo.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Steven Copeland of Batavia, Brittani Soles and Joseph Copeland. Sister, Diane Deaton of North Carolina.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Stacey Laurie.
