CONNIE WELBOURN

Connie passed away peacefully in the early morning on Dec. 9th, 2022. Connie was born in Quantico, Virginia, to Bernita Platten and Donald Clear.  She is survived by her three children, who made up the entirety of her world, (Heather, Amber and Trent) along with her four grandkids (Tristin, Skyler, Patrick and Caleb). Besides her children, Connie is survived by her mother, Bernita, and her sister, Dorene.  Connie was a super strong and independent woman, outgoing, loving and friendly, who increased the quality of life of those who knew her. Connie was the heart of her family, loving and dedicated.  Connie held many careers during her life. Her true calling was heath care which she received The Lifetime Contribution Award for her services. Connie was a third generation of health caregivers.  Most people in Fairbanks will remember Connie from her time working at Debs Cafe where she made friends and touched hearts of locals and tourists over the years, she also enjoyed her time working at an assisted living home. Connie loved working with rescue dogs, and Connie's favorite holiday was Christmas.  Connie will forever be loved, missed, and never forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held on June 9th from 2-5pm at The Goose, 33 South Main St. Oakfield, NY 14125.
