Henry M. Winters
He was born March 1, 1939 in Buffalo, a son of the late Henry and Nora Wagner Winters.
He served his country with the U.S. Army from 1963-1965. Hank was a pipe fitter for U.A. Plumbers & Steam Fitters Local 22 prior to his retirement. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his son, Russell Winters of Endicott, NY. Stepchildren, Sharon Winters of Akron and Barbara Wild of Buffalo. Sisters, Terri DiCesare of Lancaster and Renie Deck of Cheektowaga. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife’s, Bonita Louise Winters and Judy Winters and daughter, Leslie Winters.
A memorial service will be held Saturday (May 22nd), 11am at High Point Church, 1163 Main Rd., Corfu, NY 14036.

Della Mae Bryant
Della held many administrative positions through her career and retired from NYS Correctional Department at Attica State Prison.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Dawn (Richard) Harvey of Lancaster, siblings, Charles Lapp of Darien Center, Gwenn Amedick of Springfield, VA, grandsons, Jeremy (fiancée Sarah Piasecki) Harvey, Sean (Amy) Harvey, one niece and two nephews.

Edith M. Paladino
LeRoy ~ Edith M. Paladino, age 88, formerly of Randall Road, passed away early Tuesday morning (May 18, 2021) at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Batavia.
Edith will be remembered as a loving wife and mother, who was well known for her baked goods. She loved her dogs dearly and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Paladino in 2007 and her siblings, Bob and Marie. She is survived by her daughters, Pam Roblee and Audrey (Ron) Stella, and her son and personal care provider, Anthony Paladino, along with grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Mr. Daniel S. Grandillo, Jr.
He was born June 29, 1929 in Buffalo, a son of the late Daniel S. and Mary Grandillo.
Along with his late wife Patricia, they were the owners of Granny's Attic in Batavia from 1971 until 1978. He worked for 20 years at G.T.E. Sylvania in Batavia retiring as a supervisor. A longtime member of the former St. Nicholas Club, he also worked for the Rochester City School District for 22 years and delivered flowers for Flowers by Dick Burton.
Daniel is predeceased by his wife Patricia Dewey Grandillo, brother & sister-in law Stephen (Beatrice) Grandillo and nephew Stephen Grandillo, Jr.
Surviving are his daughters; Mary Ellen Davis of Denver, Colorado, Cheryl Grandillo of Batavia, Patti (Philippe) Muths of Denver, Colorado and Dana (Michael) Kelley of Clearwater, Florida, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; 2 nieces and the son he never had Mark Tepedino.

Patricia "Patty" Hess
Patty grew up in Le Roy where she graduated from Le Roy High School in 1972. She worked as an Art Illustrator at Kodak for many years and also worked at the Nature Center in Pittsford. Patty was a very talented artist, hair dresser and she loved to sew, making many of her own clothes. She loved animals, especially horses which she would often ride in her younger days. Her favorite pet was her cat “Jack”. She loved her friends and family, spending time visiting, shopping and going out for lunch.
She is survived by her siblings; Leon Hess III of TN, Dean (Joyce) Hess of Stafford and Marion (Dennis) Gorman of Wilson, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank Patty’s friends for all their support during her illness, especially Margaret and Linda for all their kindness and thoughtfulness. Patty will be sadly missed by all.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Patty will be laid to rest in Canaserega Cemetery.

Jane E. Costanzo
Jane was raised in Whitesboro, NY. She attended Whitesboro Central Schools and St. Francis de Sales High School in Utica, then went on to the College of St. Rose in Albany and University of Buffalo. She married her husband Robert Costanzo on Aug. 19, 1967 in Whitesboro. Jane taught for many years in the Catholic Schools in the Syracuse and Albany Diocese and the Whitesboro Central School district. She was a substitute teacher in the Batavia City Schools and St. Anthony’s for eight years and also taught full time at John Kennedy Elementary School as the Library Media Specialist for ten years. Jane was a member of both the NY State and Batavia Retired Teachers Associations. She was a part of the Notre Dame Prayer Group, Ascension Parish Right to Life Committee, the Ascension Bible Study Group and a former Eucharistic Minister and bereavement group member. She was a Professed Sister of St. Joseph of Carondolet for twelve years and was a member of the Devine Mercy Prayer Group. Jane will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family and faith.
She is survived by her husband; Robert Costanzo of Batavia; son Scott (Shannon Broderick) Costanzo of Chili, NY; sisters Karen Kienle-Harries of FL., Cynthia (Dennis) Day of NC; grandchildren Cade and Eva Costanzo.

Pearl Jean Rowe
Jean was born December 21, 1923 in Ashland, Kentucky, the fourth child of Malcolm Grame and Gladys Preston Flannery. She graduated from Riverside High School, Riverside, New York in 1942. She married her high school sweetheart, John Vernon Rowe, in August, 1944.
Following the end of World War II Jean and Vern continued living in the Buffalo, New York area until 1975. They then relocated to San Bernardino, California to serve with Campus Crusade for Christ where they were on staff for 17 years. Jean held many volunteer positions in her community as well as serving in various leadership capacities in churches she attended.
After 71 years of marriage and seven children Jean was preceded in death by her husband in 2016. She was also preceded in death by her eldest daughter Jeannine Preston Rowe and two great-grandchildren (Faith Anne Keyes and Aidan Mitchel Wakefield) and six siblings. Surviving children are Susan Wakefield of Batavia, NY, John (Sherry) Rowe of Lewisburg, PA, Linda (George) Renner of Owls Head, ME, Michael (Maggie) Rowe of Waynesville, NC, Lori Summer of Lafayette, IN, and Peter (Christine) Rowe of Lewisburg, PA, along with a legacy of 22 grand-children and 36 great grandchildren. Surviving siblings are Paul (Carol) Flannery and Alice Flannery Wentling.
Jean will be buried next to her husband at the Bath National Cemetery during a private interment ceremony.

Bruce T. Spring
Bruce did maintenance at Batavia City Schools for many years. He was a wonderful father, son and brother. Bruce was loving, kind and full of humor.
Survivors include his daughters Samantha and Holly Spring, siblings Linda Jackett, Denise (Joseph) Welter, Peggy (Doug) Heywood, Cindy (Doug) Flint, Lisa (Jeff) Leach, Sheri (Paul) Miller, Alethia (Allen) Keiper, Angelique (Tim) Zielinski, sister-in-law Shelly Bienias and many other living extended family members.

Teresa A. Figlow
She was born January 3, 1947 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Anthony and Jennie Tessitore LaFarnara.
Teresa spent her entire life in Batavia where she grew up, went to school, met and married her husband of 56 years and raised her 3 children and was instrumental in the rearing of her grandkids too. She took care of many other children who to this day think of her as a second mom. She was a constant, consistent source of support and care to her family and friends and although we all thought she worried a bit too much about us we never doubted her deep love and concern. She could be found at home, crocheting and many people have her beautiful afghans in their homes or she was cooking and caring for her family. She worked many jobs in the community and even for a time owned her own business. She loved collecting and has many curated collections of angels and things she loved but none as fiercely as she loved her family.
She overcame many losses in her life and it was a quiet testimony to her deep faith. She was very private about her illness and wanted to be remembered for how she was before she fell ill. Teresa displayed the same strength and courage to the end that she embodied in her life and was an example for all of us.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony Figlow of Batavia. Daughter, Jodi (Steven) Coburn of Batavia. Son, Adam (Teresa) Figlow of Batavia. Brother, Nick (Kathy) LaFarnara of Batavia. Grandchildren, Shaun, Joshua, Jocelyn, Seth and Joel Coburn, Anthony, Dallas and Heath Figlow, Ashanti, Joseph, Nickolas, Noah and Emma Figlow.
She was the mother of the late Michael Figlow.

(Pastor) Samuel M. McAllister
Pavilion ~ (Pastor) Samuel M. McAllister, age 38 of Lake Street, passed away Saturday morning (May 15, 2021) at home in the loving presence of his family.
Sam was a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and dear friend to many. He was devoted to both his family and his Lord and Savior. Sam attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, where he earned his Master’s Degree in Theology. He had a passion for all people to experience the power and promises that come from knowing God. His desire was to see lives changed and to help each member to have a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Pastor Sam came to the Pavilion community with his young family to serve as their pastor at the First Baptist Church in December of 2016.
An incredibly strong and brave person, Sam was not afraid to step outside the box and face a new challenge, whether it be cooking, playing the role of peacemaker, or interacting and playing games with the children and teens of the community. Behind the scenes of being a pastor, Sam was a tech savvy graphic designer; he enjoyed reading and sipping a good cup of coffee.
In addition to his parents, Dwight and Marcia McAllister of Greer, SC, he is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 14 years, Alaina Wilcox McAllister; son, Isaiah; twin daughters, Savannah and Sophia; siblings, Joel (Crystal) McAllister of CO, twin sister, Sarah McAllister of GA and Rebekah (Bryan) DeChaine of SC, along with many aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Sam had a special love for his church family and the entire community.
Sam’s family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday, May 19 from 5 ~ 8 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy. A Memorial Celebration of Sam’s Life will be held on Thursday, May 20 at 1:30 P.M. at the Pavilion First Baptist Church, 10956 Lake St., Pavilion. Interment in Fairview Cemetery will be private. Immaculata Iannello
Mrs. Iannello was born July 17, 1947 in Asheville, North Carolina a daughter of the late Fortunato and Angela Rose (Chereso) Ilasi.
Immaculata earned a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from Rosary Hill College (now Daemen College) and had a more than 40 year career working first at St. Jerome Hospital and then United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. She retired as the head of Bacteriology. Mrs. Iannello was a parishioner of Resurrection Parish. She loved to read and watch television and movies - especially science fiction. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her love of a good story.
Immaculata is the wife of the late John Samuel Iannello.
Surviving are her sons, John Iannello of Batavia, and Joseph Iannello of Lockport; grandchildren, Graclyn Ptak and Rae Iannello both of Burnsville, North Carolina; brothers, Nicholas (Constance) Ilasi of Batavia, and Salvatore Ilasi of Los Angeles, Cali.; brother-in-law, Richard (Anne) Iannello of Batavia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Coraline Iannello, and a brother, Stephen (late Elaine) Ilasi.

Gerald G Elliott
Mr. Elliott was born December 1, 1947 in Batavia, a son of the late George and Evadene (Wiltse) Elliott.
He was a 1967 graduate of Pembroke High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the Army, where he served honorably during the Vietnam War. Gerald was a member of the Akron Masonic Lodge, the Shriners, American Legion, VFW, and the Elks Club. He retired in 2010 after 36 years as a heavy equipment operator with County Line Stone.
Mr. Elliott enjoyed landscaping, hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and traveling between Black Lake and Florida.
Surviving are his children, Steven Elliott of Corfu, Michelle Czechowicz of Lockport, and Amanda Elliott of Basom; grandchildren, Bryce, Kristen, Jason, Amarri, Journie, Giara, and Isaiah; his companion, Pai, of Florida; siblings, Reylene (late George) VanGeldren of Fishkill, Gayle (Dennis) Waldron of Byron, Lee (Bonnie) Schoenthal of Corfu, and Ila Jean (late John) Terry of Hammond. Nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Family and friends are invited to call on May 22, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, where a Masonic Service and Memorial Service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm. Mrs. Helen B. Church
LeRoy – Helen B. Church, 96, died in her home at St. Ann’s Community at the Greens in LeRoy on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 following a long illness.
Mrs. Church and her husband Maynard were long-time residents of Stafford on the Fargo Road in the house they built. She was active in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (Stafford) for decades. She also was involved in voter services, had been a member of the former Conversation Class of Batavia, played bridge avidly and supported many community efforts as a volunteer throughout her life. Most importantly, Mrs. Church unfailingly and unselfishly gave her time and energy to her family and friends, showing a genuine concern for everyone.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Church and son-in-law Jonathan Gaines of Bronxville, NY; two step-granddaughters, Rebecca Lucas (Chris) and Laura Jofre (Jaime); and nieces and nephews Lawrence Schultz (Melissa), Caroline Schultz, Rick Church (Eileen), Tom Church (Sheri), Ann Richards (Gary Mirando), S. Grant Richards (Suzy), and John Willand (Peggy Carter).
Mrs. Church was predeceased by her husband, Maynard; her sister, Charlotte Schultz; and her nephew, Peter Schultz.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22nd at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 6188 Route 5, Stafford. Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery.
