Open house at Richmond library on the Genesee-Finger Lakes Regional Trail Initiative

The Genesee Transportation Council will hold an open house on Thursday, Sept. 11, to update the public on the Genesee-Finger Lakes Regional Trail Initiative. It will take place at the Richmond Memorial Library, located at 19 Ross St. in the City of Batavia, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to share ideas, challenges and opportunities for the regional trail network.

Community Action Angels Vendor Blender

The Community Action Angels will host a Vendor Blender on Saturday, June 8th from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Genesee Community College One College Road in Batavia.  There will be a nice variety of over 50 crafters & vendors, Chinese auction, 50/50 and lunch will be available.  For more information call 585-343-7798 ext. 114

Children bring your parents!  Parents bring your children!  The event will feature Mr. Scribbles and a large variety of popular home business vendors and crafters.  Mr. Scribbles starts with your scribbles and turns them into fun cartoons!  Children of all ages will enjoy creating FREE original, one of a kind works of art with Mr. Scribbles!  There will also be cash & carry, free samples, lunch, a bake sale and door prizes.

Care-A-Van Street Church

Care- A-Van will be at South Spruce and Prune Street this Sunday for street

church. The youth Pastor, Pastor Bloom from the Elba Baptist church

will be giving the message. His wife Kathy will be providing the mucic.

This is a fun filled PG - 13 Romp of the aftermath of the filming of the movie "GIANT" which starred James Dean in Marfa, Texas. The story takes place in the year 1955 AND 20 years later in 1975 and reunites the Disciples of James Dean. A touching, poignant play that looks at the best and worst of friendship and love. The Batavia production stars: Valeria Antonetty Shawnie Euren Lynda Hodgins Brittaney Lang Nikole Marone Peggy Marone Joan Meyer Patti Michalak and Introducing Jake Bortle as "Joe"

Tickets are $10 General Admission and $8 Students and Senior Citizens. Tickets can be ordered by calling 585-343-9721 or they can be purchased at Roxy's Music Store or GO ART! on Main Street.
