Grand Jury Report: Man accused of possessing illegal AR-15 pistol in Le Roy

Vincent S. Kovach is indicted on five counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a Class D felony, and two counts unlawful purchase of body armor, a Class A misdemeanor. Kovach is accused of possessing an AR-15 pistol, serial number 21004302, on April 21 in the Town of Le Roy that was semiautomatic with the ability to accept a detachable magazine and the capacity to accept ammunition magazines that attach to the pistol outside the pistol grip. The pistol also allegedly had the capability to accept a barrel extender, flash suppressor, forward handgrip, or silencer, and a shroud that would allow a person to hold the barrel of the gun without being burned, that had a manufactured weight of fifty or more ounces while unloaded, and of being a version of an automatic rifle. He is accused of possessing two pieces of body armor, one from May 2022 to April and the other from January to April.

Andrew W. Taylor is indicted on counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, a Class E felony, and petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor. Taylor is accused of filing a false business document at Pawn King in Batavia on Nov. 21.  He was allegedly attempting to pawn a an item he stole, an Oral B Pro 500 and WaterPik water flosser.

Grand Jury Report: Man accused of sexual assault of child in 2010

Daniel L. Goodell is indicted on two counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, a Class A-II felony. Goodell is accused of committing rape in the first degree and of engaging in sexual intercourse as an adult, with a child of less than 13 years old, in the Town of Alexander sometime between Sept. 6 and Nov. 26, 2010.

Mone N. Wiggins is indicted on counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony, conspiracy in the fifth degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and criminal impersonation in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Wiggins is accused of stealing property valued at more than $1,000 from Ulta Beauty, 4193 Veterans Memorial Drive, Batavia, on Jan. 6.  Wiggins is accused of coordinating the crime with another person. Wiggins is also accused of falsely assuming the identity of another person. 

Angela N. Bennett and Schamya I. Brown are indicted on a count of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony. Bennett and Brown are accused of stealing merchandise valued at more than $1,000 from Dick's Sporting Goods, 4180 Veterans Memorial Drive, Batavia, on May 23.

Jacob A. Richards is indicted on counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony, and of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a Class D felony. Richards is accused of stealing property valued at more than $1,000 in the City of Batavia on Oct. 4. He is accused of possessing a forged check from Tonawanda Valley Federal Credit Union.

Lance M. Mercado Sr. is indicted on a count of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a Class D felony. Mercado is accused of possessing metal knuckles in the Town of Alexander on Dec. 29.

Ethan M. Conrad is indicated on DWI, a Class E felony. Conrad is accused of driving drunk in a 2013 Volkswagon on South Main Street Road, Town of Batavia, on Feb. 16. He was convicted of a previous DWI on April 28, 2021, in the CIty of Batavia.

Jonathan K. Banks is indicted on counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a Class D felony, tampering with physical evidence, a Class E felony, and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Banks is accused of passing 500 milligrams or more of cocaine while in the City of Batavia on Jan. 31, and attempting to conceal or destroy the evidence.

Jason R. Anderson is indicted on counts of robbery in the first degree, a Class B violent felony, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor, and menacing in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Anderson is accused of stealing by threat of violence with a knife, bedsheets and a bottle from Walmart, 4133 Veterans Memorial Drive, Batavia, on Jan. 23. 

Demetrius W. Richardson is indicted on eight counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree, a Class C felony, and one count of petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor. Richardson is accused of trying to pass two forged $20 bills at Quicklees in the City of Batavia at 1:43 a.m. on Sept. 7., and four more at 4:15 a.m., and again at 4:28 a.m., and at 12:29 a.m. on Sept. 8.

James R. Cooper is indicted on a count of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree, a Class C felony. Cooper is accused of possessing a forged $20 at Crosby's on Clinton Street Road, Batavia, on Dec. 27.

Anthony D. Rossi is indicted on counts of burglary in the third degree, a Class D felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Rossi is accused of knowingly and unlawfully entering a building, a shed on Oak Orchard Road, Elba, with the intent to commit a crime within the structure. He is also accused of possessing cocaine.

Raymond M. Hardy is indicted on counts of attempted grand larceny in the second degree, a Class D felony, and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Hardy is accused of attempting to steal property valued in excess of $50,000 in the Town of Elba on Sept. 16.  He is accused of possessing a stolen motor vehicle certificate of title. 

Gary E. Jackson is indicted on counts of assault in the second degree, a Class D violent felony, resisting arrest, a Class A misdemeanor, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and harassment in the second degree. Jackson is accused of causing physical injury to a police officer while resisting arrest in the City of Batavia on Aug. 14.

Shelby L. Hall is indicted on a count of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony. Hall is accused of stealing a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado valued at more than $100 in the Town of Le Roy on Aug. 10.

Arthur L. Golden is indicted on a count of bail jumping in the second degree, a Class E felony. Golden is accused of not showing up in court as ordered on a felony charge in July.

Grand Jury Report: Woman accused of trying to deal cocaine and Fentanyl in jail

Beth Ann Jeffers is indicted on two counts of promoting prison contraband in the first degree, a Class D felony, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B felony, one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 4th degree, a Class C felony, and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Jeffers is accused of introducing or being in possession of dangerous contraband while in a criminal detention facility, namely the Genesee County Jail at 14 West Main St., Batavia. She is accused of being in possession of cocaine, Fentanyl, both with the intent to sell it. She is also accused of being in possession of Pregabalin.

Grand Jury Report: Motorcyclist charged with manslaughter in death of teenager

Christopher R. Scinta is indicted on counts of manslaughter in the second degree, a Class C felony, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, a Class C felony, reckless driving, a Class A misdemeanor, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a Class A misdemeanor, two counts of obstructing governmental administration, a Class A misdemeanor, obstructing emergency medical personal, a Class misdemeanor, and speeding, a violation. Scinta is accused of causing the death of Jasmyne Rubel at the roundabout in the City of Batavia on Nov. 4. He is accused of leaving the scene of a personal injury accident without notifying police of the accident. He is accused of driving a 2006 Kawasaki in a reckless manner. He's accused of intentionally damaging window blinds in interview room #2 at the Batavia Police Department. He is accused of attempting to interfere with a government official's lawful duty. He is accused of interfering with the medical treatment of Jasmyne Rubel by a qualified first responder. 

Cindy L. Bush is indicted on a felony count of DWI and of aggravated unlicensed operation. Bush is accused of driving drunk on April 24 in the City of Batavia on Ross Street in a 2004 Chevrolet. The indictment alleges a prior conviction within the past 10 years for DWI in February 2015 in the City of Batavia.

David J. Leroy is indicted on a count of criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, a Class D felony. Leroy is accused of knowingly possessing a switchblade knife in the Town of Pembroke on July 25.

Geovanny Lopez is indicated a felony count of DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, a Class E felony, and circumventing an interlock device, a Class A misdemeanor. Lopez is accused of driving a 2009 Ford on the I-490 on Aug. 4 in the Town of Le Roy. The indictment alleges that Lopez was convicted of DWI with the past 10 years, on Dec. 12, 2016, in Yonkers.

Shannon L. Marvin is indicted on a count of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony. Marvin is accused of stealing a Discover card belonging to another person in the Town of Bergen during the month of October in 2021.

Grand Jury Report: Two indictments issued

Scott F. McColl is indicted on one count of felony DWI. McColl is accused of driving drunk on Summit Street Road in the Town of Pavilion on a 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on July 14. He was convicted of misdemeanor DWI on Nov. 3, 2014.

John Sumlin, III is indicted on one count of criminal contempt in the first degree, a Class E felony. Sumlin is accused of violating an order of protection on or about Oct. 25 and 26 in the City of Batavia. He is accused of repeatedly making telephone calls to the person he was ordered not to contact.

Grand Jury Report: Man accused of first degree rape

Shane M. Vaname is indicted on counts of rape in the first degree, a Class B violent felony, sexual abuse in the first degree, a Class D violent felony, and rape in the third degree, a Class E felony. Vaname is accused of having sexual intercourse with another person by forcible compulsion on Dec. 10 at a location in the Town of Le Roy. He is accused of subjecting another person to sexual contact by forcible compulsion. He is accused of having sexual intercourse with a person who was incapable of giving consent.

Stephen E. Pike is indicted on counts of strangulation in the second degree, a Class D violent felony, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a Class A misdemeanor,  and assault in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Pike is accused of impeding the normal breathing or blood circulation of another person by applying pressure to the person's throat, thereby causing stupor or loss of consciousness at a location in the City of Batavia on Aug. 6, and that he intended to cause physical injury to another person. He is also accused of damaging a window at a property on Liberty Street, Batavia on Aug. 6. 

Jamie A. Dutton is indicted on three counts of burglary in the third degree, a Class D felony, and three counts of petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor. Dutton is accused of entering Walmart on Aug. 3, Aug. 14, and Aug. 18 with the intent to commit a crime once inside. He is accused of stealing bicycles on Aug. 3 and Aug. 14. He is accused of stealing two wireless keyboards on Aug. 18.

Benjamin D. Seekins is indicted on a count of DWI, a Class E felony. Seekins is accused of being drunk at the time he was driving a 2011 Kia on July 12 on Route 5 in the Town of Batavia. He is accused of driving drunk within 10 years of a prior DWI conviction.

Grand Jury Report: Man accused of attempted murder in Jackson Street knife attack

Tyshon L. Taylor is indicted on counts of attempted murder in the second degree, a Class B violent felony, assault in the first degree, a Class B violent felony, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a Class D felony. Taylor is accused of stabbing a victim with a knife with the intent to kill the victim on Oct. 18 in the City of Batavia. Previously: Man accused of attempted murder in stabbing on Jackson Street

Adam M. Kreutz is indicted on two counts of burglary in the second degree, a Class C violent felony, a count of assault in the second degree, a Class D violent felony, assault in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and attempted coercion in the first degree, a Class E felony, On Sept. 6, Kreutz allegedly twice entered a dwelling on Ellicott Street, Batavia, with the intent to commit a crime. He allegedly caused injury to a person using steel-toed boots. He allegedly told the victim he needed to vacate the apartment that was the victim's legal residence. 

Christian I. Andrzejek is indicted on counts of burglary in the third degree, a Class D felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and petit larceny. Andrzejek is accused of entering a shed on Washington Avenue, Batavia, on Sept. 6 with the intent to commit a crime inside the shed. He is accused of possessing methamphetamine on Sept. 6. He is accused of stealing clothes on Sept. 6.

Tammy L. Cicatello is indicted on a count of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a Class D felony. Cicatello is accused of possessing a firearm on July 30 in the City of Batavia.

Chaz T. Brandon, Jr., is indicted on counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a Class C felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor. On Aug. 11, 2020, while in the Town of Bergen, Brandon was allegedly found in possession of 67 red plastic containers, each containing cocaine, with the intent to sell it. The aggregate weight was allegedly more than one-eight of an ounce. He is also accused of possessing Oxycodone.

Grand Jury Report: Woman accused of presenting forged vaccination card to employer

Stacey A. King is indicted on counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree and falsifying business records in the first degree. King is accused of presenting a forged COVID-19 vaccination record to her employer in the City of Batavia on Oct. 1, 2021.

Katherine J. Briggs is indicted on one count of criminal contempt in the first degree. Briggs is accused of violating an order of protection on July 27 at a location on South Main Street, Batavia.

Martin P. Macioszek, II, is indicted on one count of grand larceny in the third degree.  Macioszek is accused of stealing property with a value greater than $3,000 from a location in the Town of Batavia between May 2020 and September 2020.

 

Grand Jury Report: Local man accused of stealing and trying to pawn what he stole

Andrew J. Draper is indicted on a count of falsifying business records in the first degree, a Class E felony. Draper is accused of signing a fraudulent bill of sale on June 22 at Pawn Kings on Veterans Memorial Drive in Batavia. He is also indicted on counts of criminal contempt in the first degree, a Class E felony, and harassment in the second degree, a violation.  Draper is accused of violating an order of protection and taking physical action against another person on June 17 at a location on Miller Avenue, Batavia.

Andrew A. Searight and Jerrotonia A. Scarbrough are indicted on two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals under Section 353-a(1) of the Agriculture and Markets Law, a felony.  Both are accused of intentionally killing and causing physical injury to two dogs on May 10.

Dustin M. Locicero is indicted on counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, a Class E felony, burglary in the third degree, a Class D felony, and petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor. Locicero is accused of signing a fraudulent bill of sale at Pawn Kings on Veterans Memorial Drive, Batavia, on April 26.  He is accused of breaking into a garage on Broadway Road, Darien, on June 5 and stealing a power nailer, an orbital sander, and a battery charger.

Aaron T. Hendershot is indicted on two counts of criminal mischief in the second degree, a Class D felony, and one count of obstructing governmental administration. Hendershot is accused of damaging a City of Batavia patrol vehicle on Sept. 11 and of damaging the tires of a vehicle belonging to a local resident on Sept. 10. He is also accused of intentionally obstructing a public servant from performing an official function on Sept. 11.

Ajie J. Smith-Ezell is indicted on a count of assault in the second degree, a Class D violent felony. Smith-Ezell is accused of intending to cause serious injury to another person and causing serious injury to that person on March 12 in the City of Batavia.

Marcella F. Greene is indicted on a count of driving while impaired by drugs, a Class E felony, of reckless driving, a misdemeanor, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. Greene is accused of being impaired by drugs while operating a 2003 Dodge on East Main Street and North Spruce Street, City of Batavia, on April 22.

John Saddler, Jr. is indicted on counts of aggravated family offense, a Class E felony, and criminal contempt in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Saddler is accused of violating a court order at 2:33 p.m. on July 10 in the City of Batavia.

Todd A. Kendall is indicted on a count of failure to verify as a sex offender, a Class E felony. Kendall, a registered Level 2 sex offender, is accused of providing a current photograph of himself to authorities in a manner and within a time period required by law.

John C. Hoogasian is indicted on a count of grand larceny in the third degree, a Class D felony. Hoogasian is accused of stealing a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck from a location on Oak Orchard Road, Elba, on Sept. 29, 2021. He is also indicted on a count of bail jumping in the second degree, a Class E felony. He is accused of failing to appear in Town of Oakfield Court as ordered as part of a criminal proceeding.

Arthur J. Brown is indicted on a count of failure to register a change of address as a sex offender, a Class E felony. Brown is accused of failure to register a change of address within the required 10 days as a registered sex offender.

Ledeja K. Wright is indicted on counts of burglary in the second degree, a Class C felony, criminal mischief in the third degree, a Class E felony, and criminal tampering in the third degree, a Class B misdemeanor. Wright is accused of entering a residence on Holland Avenue, Batavia, on June 15 with the intent to commit a crime inside the residence. Wright is accused of damaging a television and stereo inside the residence. Wright is also accused of damaging property of another person with the intent to cause substantial inconvenience to another person.

Jeffrey D. Hall is indicted on a count of sexual abuse in the first degree, a Class D violent felony. Hall is accused of subjecting another person to sexual contact by forcible compulsion on May 24 at a location in the City of Batavia.

Joseph D. Krug is indicted on a count of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony. Krug is accused of stealing property with a value exceeding $1,000 from a location in the Town of Batavia on Feb. 16.

Jamie M. Cyr is indicted on a count of promoting prison contraband in the first degree, a Class D felony. Cyr is accused of possession of suboxone while confined to the Genesee County Jail on April 16.

Grand Jury Report: Batavia man indicted in Elm Street shooting

Jeremy Ives

Jeremy G. Ives is indicted on two counts of attempted assault in the first degree, a Class C violent felony, kidnapping in the second degree, a Class B violent felony, criminal use of a firearm in the first degree, a Class B violent felony, two counts of criminal use of a firearm in the second degree, a Class C violent felony, and menacing in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Ives is accused of attempting to cause serious physical injury to a person using a shotgun in the City of Batavia on Aug. 12.  He is accused of abducting another person on that same day. Iverson M. Davis is indicted on counts of grand larceny in the third degree, a Class D felony, and eight counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a Class D felony. Davis is accused of stealing property with a value in excess of $3,000 between March 25 and March 28 at Batavia Downs in the Town of Batavia. He is accused of possessing forged Western Union Money Orders.

Elayasia A. Mendez is indicted on counts of aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, DWI, forgery in the second degree, falsifying business records in the first degree, and criminal impersonation in the second degree. Mendez is accused of driving a 2014 Chrysler on Clinton Street Road, Stafford, on June 11 on a suspended license while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. She is accused of signing the name "Jada Quinones" on a fingerprint card in an attempt to conceal her true identity. 

Alicia K. Urban is indicted on two counts of aggravated driving while ability impaired by drugs, a Class E felony, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor. Urban is accused of driving impaired on March 29 on East Main Street, Town of Batavia, while two children were in the vehicle.

Amanda B. Hopkins is indicted on two counts of aggravated DWI, a Class E felony,  and one count of endangering the welfare of a child a Class A misdemeanor. Hopkins is accused of driving drunk, with a BAC of .08 or greater, with a child in the car, on Route 63 in the Town of Pavilion on Jan. 21.

Garlyn M. Gause is indicted on counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B felony, two counts of tampering with physical evidence, a Class E felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor. Gause is accused of possessing cocaine on April 24 in the City of Batavia with the intent to sell it. On that same date, he is accused of preventing the use of evidence by concealment, alteration, destruction or by employing force, intimidation or deception. On the same date, is also accused of being in possession of a controlled substance. 

Trevor T. Cooke is indicted on counts of driving while ability impaired by drugs, a Class E felony, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree. Cooke is accused of driving a 2006 Chevrolet on April 2 on Bloomingdale Road in the Town of Alabama while his ability was impaired by drugs.

 

Grand Jury Report: Two people accused of bail jumping

Dajuandrick C. Gardner is indicted on one count of bail jumping in the second degree. On Dec. 8, while involved in criminal legal proceedings, Gardner was released from custody either on bail or on his own recognizance upon the condition that he would appear personally in Batavia City Court at a later date to answer to a felony charge. He allegedly did not appear on the date required and did not turn himself in within 30 days. 

Michael L. Jackson, Jr. is indicted on one count of bail jumping in the second degree. He allegedly did not appear on the date required and did not turn himself in within 30 days. 

Curtis J. Johnstone is indicted on counts of felony DWI, felony driving with a BAC of .08 or greater, and felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree. Johnstone is accused of driving drunk at April 12 in the Town of Pembroke.

Grand Jury Report: Man accused of starting fire, threatening law enforcement and firefighters in Stafford in December

Christopher C. Say is indicted in counts of assault 2nd, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, attempted arson 3rd, criminal mischief 2nd, making a terroristic threat, and criminal mischief 4th. Say is accused of using a dangerous instrument to cause serious injury to another person on Dec. 26 in the Town of Stafford. He is accused of using brass knuckles. He is attempting to start a fire to damage a detached garage at a location on Main Road in Stafford. He is accused of damaging the property of another person in excess of $1,000 in value. He is accused of threatening several troopers, deputies, and firefighters. He is accused of damaging an armored police vehicle. (Click here for previous reports of this incident.)

Adam E. Bortle is indicted on counts of promoting prison contraband 1st and three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th. Bortle is accused of bringing narcotics into the Genesee County Jail on March 20, specifically Alprazolam, Fentanyl, and cocaine.

Gerard H. Altenburg is indicted on counts of felony DWI, felony driving with a BAC of .18 or greater, and reckless driving. Altenburg is accused of driving a 2006 Dodge on Route 5 in the Town of Pembroke while intoxicated on Dec. 1. He was previously convicted of DWI in the Town of Pembroke in June 2016.

Eric T. McGrain is indicted on a count of felony DWI.  He is accused of driving a 2019 Chevrolet on Jan. 8 in the Town of Batavia. He was previously convicted of DWI in June 2012 in the Town of Greece.

Marcella F. Greene is indicted on counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th. Greene is accused of possessing cocaine in a quantity significant enough to sell and a quantity of Fentynal on Dec. 21 in the Town of Batavia.

Edward S. Demetsenaere is indicted on counts of felony DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation. Demetsenaere is accused of driving drunk on Oct. 27 in the Town of Pavilion.

David B. Kenjockety is indicted on counts of felony DWI, felony driving with a BAC of .18 or greater, and aggravated unlicensed operation. Kenjockety is accused of driving drunk on Aug. 13 in the Town of Darien. 

Jason P. Gorton is indicted on a count of assault 1st. Gorton is accused of causing serious injury to another person by use of a dangerous instrument, a mobile phone.

Isaac D. Abrams is indicted on counts of burglary 1st and assault 3rd. Abrams is accused of entering a dwelling on Bloomingdale Road, Town of Alabama on Dec. 28 with the intent of committing a crime. He is accused of causing injury to another person.

Grand Jury Report: Man accused of stealing firearms from residence in Batavia

Zachary S. Natale is indicated on a count of burglary in the second degree, a Class C violent felony, and two counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony. Natale is accused of entering a dwelling on Elm Street in the City of Batavia on May 7, 2017, with the intent of committing a crime in the dwelling. He is accused of stealing firearms, including a Savage Arms A17 bolt action, Savage Arms Axis .223, Kel-Tec .556, and a Marlin Firearms 3030 lever action. He's accused of stealing property with a value in excess of $1,000.

Kenrey D. Benjamin is indicted on two counts of burglary in the first degree, a Class B violent felony, a count of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a Class D felony, and attempted assault in the first degree, Class C violent felony. Benjamin is accused of knowingly entering a dwelling, an apartment on Lake Street in Le Roy,  without permission and remaining in it on Oct 17, with the intent of committing a crime in the dwelling and of causing physical injury to an occupant of the dwelling. He is accused of using a knife against another person. He is accused of attempting is permanently disfigure another person.

Marcus T. Hill is indicted on counts of aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, a Class E felony. Hill is accused of driving a 2006 Hummer HU3 on Clinton Street in the City of Batavia when he knew or should have known that his privilege to drive had been suspended or revoked on at least ten separate dates.

Jaequele M. Tomlin is indicted on counts of criminal mischief in the third degree, a Class E felony, and harassment in the second degree. Tomlin is accused of damaging the property of another person, a television and television stand, on Nov. 4, at a location in the City of Batavia. Tomlin is accused of having physical contact, or threatening to do so, with another person in an attempt to harass, annoy, or alarm the other person.

Thomas J. Wolcott is indicted on a count of criminal contempt in the first degree, a Class E felony. Wolcott is accused of violating a stay-away order of protection while on Central Avenue, City of Batavia, on Oct. 28.

Melvin A. Huntley is indicted on four counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, a Class D violent felony, two counts of rape in the first degree, a Class Class B violent felony, four counts of rape in the third degree, a Class E felony, one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor, three counts of predatory sexual assault against a child,a Class A-II felony, four counts of course of sexual conduct against a child in the second degree, a Class D felony, three counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, a Class D violent felony, a count of rape in the second degree, a Class E felony, and three counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, a Class D violent felony. Huntley is accused of sexual contact by force twice in the summer of 2015. He is accused of sexual contact with another person by force in the winter of 2016. He is accused of sexual contact with another person by force in the summer of 2017.  He is accused of sexual intercourse with another person by force in the summer of 2017.  He is accused of sexual intercourse with another person by force in the summer of 2016.  He is accused of sexual intercourse twice, while being 21 or older, with a person less than 17 years old in the winter of 2016.  He is accused of acting in a way injurious to a child in the winter of 2016. He is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with another person less than 13 years old by force in or about the year 2001. He is accused of being 18 years or older and committing rape in the first degree by engaging in sexual intercourse with a person less than 13 years old in or about the year 2012 through 2021. He is accused of engaging in two or more acts of sexual conduct, including at least one act of sexual intercourse, oral sexual contact, or anal sexual conduct, with a child less than 13 years old in the summer of 2013 through July of 2021. He is accused of sexual contact with another person less than 11 years old in the summer of 2013 and in September 2015.  He is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse, being 18 years old or older, with a person less than 15 years old, in June 2021. He is accused of sexual intercourse, being 18 or older, with a person less than 17 years old in June 2021. He is accused of subjecting a person less than 11 years old to sexual contact in June 2019 and in the summer of 2019 and in December 2020. He is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with a person incapable of consent in June 2021.

Brennan M. Dean is indicted on a count of assault in the second degree, a Class D violent felony. Dean is accused of assaulting a Genesee County Jail corrections officer, contrary to penal law while being convicted of a crime and being incarcerated at a correction facility. 

Arthur J. Brown is indicted on a count of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony. Brown is accused of stealing a debit card on Aug. 11 in the Town of Le Roy.

Wade J. Murray is indicted on counts of unlawful imprisonment in the first degree, a Class E felony, strangulation in the second degree, a Class D violent felony, assault in the second degree, a Class D violent felony, and attempted assault in the second degree, a Class E felony.  Murray is accused of restraining a person in a manner that could cause serious injury on July 12 in the Town of Oakfield. He is accused of applying pressure to another person's neck with the intent to impede breathing or circulation of blood. He is accused of causing serious injury to another person with a dangerous instrument, a boot. He is accused of intending to cause serious physical injury to another person.

Grand Jury Report: Man accused of multiple counts of rape involving a person less than 17

Kaleb J. Bobzien is indicted on seven counts of rape in the third degree, seven counts of criminal sexual act in the third degree, three counts of criminal contempt in the second degree, two counts of aggravated family offense, and one count each of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child. Bobzien is accused of forcibly touching on June 1 another person's sexual or other private parts for the purpose of degrading or abusing the person or for the purpose of gratifying his own sexual desire. He is accused of acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17 years old on June 1. He is accused of engaging with sexual intercourse with a person less than 17 years old while being at least 21 years old himself, on dates of between May 9 and May 15, May 16 and May 22, May 23 and May 29, May 30, and June 5, June 6 and June 12, June 13 and June 19, and June 20 and June 26. He is accused of three times violating a stay-away order of protection. He is accused of violating a Family Court order on three occasions.

Arthur J. Brown is indicted on counts of menacing a police officer, criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, tampering with physical evidence, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, and driving while ability impaired by drugs. Brown is accused of placing a police officer in fear of his physical safety by displaying a deadly weapon on Sept. 19 at a location in the Town of Stafford. He is accused of possessing a loaded firearm. He is accused of possessing cocaine. He is accused of fleeing the scene of an incident. He is accused of driving a 2008 Pontiac on Route 237, Stafford, while impaired by drugs.

Jillian E. Antinore is indicated on counts of felony DWI, felony driving with a BAC of .18 or greater, and aggravated unlicensed operation. Antinore is accused of driving drunk on Oct. 12 on Ellicott Street in the City of Batavia. She is accused of driving without a valid driver's license. 

Nathan W. Stringer is indicted on four counts of felony aggravated DWI and one count of felony DWI.  Stringer is accused of driving drunk on Aug. 28 on Route 77 in the Town of Pembroke with four children less than 15 years of age in the vehicle.

Paul A. Inostroza is indicted on counts of attempted assault in the second degree, criminal obstruction of breathing, reckless endangerment in the second degree, and harassment in the second degree.  Inosroza is accused of slamming a woman's head against a wall on Sept. 5 at a location on East Main Street, Batavia. He is also accused of applying pressure to that person's neck. 

Grand Jury Report: Woman accused of cocaine possession in Bergen

Danielle R. Tooley is indicted on counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree. On Nov. 24, in the Town of Bergen, Tooley is accused of possessing more than 500 milligrams of cocaine.  On that same date, she is accused of driving a 2008 Volvo on Clinton Street Road, Bergen, while her license was suspended.

Michael T. Martinez is indicted on two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, attempted assault in the second degree, assault in the second degree, menacing in the second degree, and two counts of harassment in the second degree. Martinez is accused of possessing a knife and a metal pipe on July 21 with the intent to use it against another person.  He is accused of attempting to cause serious injury to another person. He is accused of causing serious injury to another person. He is accused of having unlawful physical contact with two different people.

Shacerie M. Rivera is indicted on counts of assault in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon fourth, and obstructing governmental administration.  Rivera is accused of using a knife on July 13 to cause serious injury to another person.  Rivera is also accused of using force to prevent a government agent from performing the agent's lawful duties.

Pamela A. Morrow is indicted on counts of felony DWI and felony driving with a BAC of .08 or greater. Morrow is accused of driving drunk July 21 on Linwood Road, Le Roy while having a prior DWI conviction within 10 years.

Justice C. Coniglio is indicted on counts of assault in the second degree, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration.  Coniglio is accused of causing physical injury to a police officer while the offer was carrying out official duties.

Jason M. Fitzpatrick is indicted on counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, and unlawful fleeing a police officer. Fitzpatrick is accused of possessing a billy club at a location on Fox Road, Oakfield, on May 24, with the intent to use it against another person.  He is accused of damaging crops in a field with a value exceeding $250. He is accused of preventing a police officer from performing official duties and of fleeing from the police officer.

Jarrett C. Coniglio is indicted on counts of aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, felony DWI, three counts of forgery in the second degree, and criminal impersonation in the second degree. Coniglio is accused of driving without a license and while drunk on Judge Road, Alabama, on May 7. He is accused of signing the name "Grayson B. Ground" on official government documents in an attempt to conceal his real identity.

Shawn D. Myers is indicted in counts of criminal sexual act in the first degree, of sexual abuse in the third degree, and sexual misconduct. Myers is accused of engaging in anal sexual conduct by forcible compulsion and of sex with another person who was incapable of consent because the person was less than 17 years old.

Michael L. Jackson, Jr., is indicted on counts of burglary in the first degree, strangulation in the second degree, assault in the second degree, unlawful imprisonment, and assault in the third degree. Jackson is accused of entering a dwelling with the intention of committing a crime and causing a physical injury to another person in the dwelling by means of strangulation. 

Alex S. Dumbelton is indicted on counts of aggravated family offense and two counts of criminal contempt in the second degree. Dumbleton is accused of violating court orders.

Melton J. Chisom is indicted on counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, menacing in the second degree, and assault in the second degree. Chisom is accused of possessing a knife with intent to cause serious physical injury on June 24 in the City of Batavia and did allegedly injury another person.

Robert L. Williams is indicted on counts of felony DWI, felony driving with a BAC of .08 or greater, and aggravated unlicensed operation.  Williams is accused of driving drunk in the City of Batavia on June 13 while having a prior DWI conviction within 10 years.

Aaron J. McFollins is indicted on counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree, identify theft in the third degree, and petit larceny. McFollins is accused of stealing a Discover card belonging to another person and using to it obtain goods.

Justin P. Porter is indicted on counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, conspiracy in the fourth degree, tampering with physical evidence, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, false personation, and obstructing governmental administration.  Porter is accused of possessing cocaine on April 11 in the Town of Bergen with the intent to sell it.  He is accused of trying to conceal evidence. He is accused of misrepresenting his real name. He is accused of trying to prevent a government official from performing his official duties.

Nicholas M. Maher is indicted on a count of murder in the second degree.  Maher is accused of killing Martin D. Maher on Oct. 15 in the Town of Oakfield.

Roger K. Brinkman is indicted on 52 counts of rape in the first degree and 64 counts of sodomy in the first degree. Brinkman is accused of having sexual intercourse with a person multiple times between July 2020 and June 2021 by forcible compulsion and of engaging in deviate sexual intercourse with another person who was not married to the Brinkman through contact with Brinkman's mouth and the victim's vulva by forcible compulsion on multiple occasions.

Grand Jury Report: Man accused of strangling a person, attacking a child

Kaleb J. Bobzien is indicted on counts of strangulation in the second degree, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, two counts of harassment in the second degree, two counts of criminal mischief in the fourth degree, four counts of criminal contempt in the second degree, and three counts of tampering with a witness in the fourth degree. On June 24, in the Town of Batavia, Bobzien allegedly applied pressure to the throat of another person and caused that person to lose consciousness for a period of time. He's also accused of blocking the nose and mouth of another person, a person under age 17.  He also allegedly threatened a victim. He allegedly broke a vape pen that belonged to the victim. He also allegedly damaged the backpack of the underage victim. He allegedly violated an order of protection. He allegedly tried to stop a person from testifying in the case. 

Aaron M. Hatt is indicted on counts of burglary in the second degree, criminal contempt in the first degree, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and aggravated family offense, criminal contempt in the second degree. Hatt is accused of entering a building on Broadway in  Alexander on April 28 with the intent to commit a crime within the building. He is accused of violating an order of protection at that time by intentionally harassing, annoying,  or threatening a person in that residence. He is accused of applying pressure to the throat of a family member.  There was a  child present at the time of the alleged offense. 

Robin S. Brooks is indicted on a count of bail jumping in the first degree.  Brooks is accused of failing to appear for a court hearing on April 20  or within  30 days of the scheduled appearance.

Cesar G. Molina is indicted on a count of driving while ability impaired by drugs as a felony because of a prior DWI conviction.  Molina is accused of driving under the influence on 29 December in the Town of Byron.

Jarrett C.  Coniglio is indicted on two counts of assault in the second degree, a  count of resisting arrest, and a count of obstructing governmental administration. Coniglio is accused of causing injury to a  police officer while attempting to stop the officer from performing his official duties on  July 23 in the Town of Alabama. He's accused of causing injury to another person with a glass bottle. 

Mark L. Farley is indicted on a count of criminal contempt in the first degree, a  count of unlawful imprisonment, a  count of harassment in the second degree, a  count of burglary in the second degree, and a count of criminal contempt in the second degree, On Dec. 31, Farley allegedly violated an order of protection at a  residence on  Harvester Avenue by striking or threatening another person. He allegedly restrained another person. He allegedly went into the building with the intent to commit a crime. 

James D. Weathers is indicted on a count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.  Weathers is accused of knowingly possessing a loaded Glock 19  handgun while in the Town of Stafford on  Oct. 31, 2020.

Connor L.  Andrews is indicted on a count of criminal possession of a  controlled substance in the fifth degree, a count of driving while ability impaired by drugs, and three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree. Andrews was charged after being stopped in the Town of Le Roy on May 3. He was allegedly found in possession of cocaine, meth, Alprazolam, and Oxycodone.

Timothy J.  Passage is indicted on a count of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree.  Passage is accused of trying to use a counterfeit $20 bill at the Tim Horton's in Pembroke on March 20.

Jamie A. Dutton is indicted on a  count of criminal mischief in the third degree, criminal trespass in the second degree, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. Dutton is accused of damaging the property of another person valued at more than $250 on Feb. 27 at a location in the City of Batavia. He was allegedly unlawfully in a property with permission and in possession of cocaine.

Grand Jury Report: Man who reportedly fled police facing multiple felonies, including menacing a police officer

Charles M. Jackson is indicted on counts of menacing a police officer, criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, four counts of reckless endangerment in the first degree, three counts of obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, two counts unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, two counts of reckless driving, and criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree.  Jackson is accused of attempting to place, or place, a police officer in reasonable fear of physical injury or death by displaying a deadly weapon on March 21. He is accused of placing others in grave danger with depraved indifference to human life. He is accused of struggling with a police officer over a firearm placing others in danger. He is accused of placing others in danger by fleeing from a police officer in a motor vehicle and by ramming into two Genesee County patrol cars. He is accused of obstructing police officers from performing their official duties by fleeing. He is accused of possessing a forged Ohio State Driver's License.

James J. Santiago, Jr. is indicted on counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, attempted assault in the third degree, menacing in the second degree, and trespass. On May 3, Santiago allegedly possessed a knife while on Washington Avenue, Batavia, with the intent to use it against another person and that he intended to cause physical injury to another person. He is accused of threatening a person with the knife. He is also accused of entering the dwelling of another person without permission and remaining there.

Daniel J. Wolfe is indicted on counts of burglary in the second degree and two counts of criminal contempt in the second degree. Wolfe is accused of entering a dwelling with the intent of committing a crime and of violating an order of protection in the process.

Edwin L. Stancliff is indicted on counts of felony driving while intoxicated, felony driving with a BAC of .08 or greater, and criminal mischief in the third degree. Stancliff is accused of driving a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer while intoxicated on Feb. 14 in the Town of Batavia.   He is accused of intentionally damaging a glass door at State Police Troop A headquarters.

Wayne D. Potter is indicted on counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, menacing in the second degree, and assault in the second degree. On Jan. 11, at 111 Liberty St. Batavia, Potter allegedly held a knife with the intent to use it against another person. He is also accused of placing or attempting to place another person in fear of physical injury or death. On Feb. 16, Potter allegedly assaulted a person while in the Genesee County Jail.

James T. Saddler, III, is indicted on counts of assault in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon third, and two counts of harassment in the second degree. On June 24, in the Town of Batavia, Saddler allegedly used a tire iron to injury another person.  He is also accused of shoving and kicking another person.

Andre L. Roberts is indicted for the crime of assault on a police officer, a Class C violent felony. It is alleged that on Oct. 21 in the Town of Alexander, that Roberts, with intent to prevent a Genesee County Sheriff's deputy from performing a lawful duty, caused serious physical injury to the officer. In count two, Roberts is accused of resisting arrest, a Class A misdemeanor, for intentionally preventing or attempting to prevent a police officer from arresting him or another person.

Robert J. Williams is indicted for the crime of aggravated cruelty of animals, contrary to NYS Agriculture and Markets Law Section 353a(1) -- a felony. On Jan. 14, with no justifiable purpose, Williams is accused of intentionally killing or intentionally causing serious physical injury to a companion animal with aggravated cruelty. In count two, Williams is accused of the same crime involving a second animal. In counts three and four, Williams is accused of fourth-degree criminal mischief, a Class A misdemeanor contrary to Penal Law Section 145.00(1), for intentionally damaging property belonging to another -- to two dogs.

Dejon J. Smith is indicted for the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B felony. It is alleged that on Feb. 25 in the City of Batavia that Smith knowingly and unlawfully possessed a narcotic drug -- cocaine -- with the intent to sell it. In count two, Smith is indicted for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a Class C felony. It is alleged in count two that on that day, he knowingly and unlawfully possessed one or more preparations, compounds, mixtures or substances containing the narcotic cocaine; these had an aggregated weight of one-eighth ounce or more. In count three, Smith indicted for the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor, for knowingly and unlawfully possessing a controlled substance -- alprazolam. In count four, Smith is accused of tampering with physical evidence, a Class E felony. It is alleged in count four that Smith, believing certain evidence was about to be produced or used in an official proceeding, intentionally acted to prevent this. He is accused of hiding some cocaine behind a stack of storage container lids in a storage shed while hiding from a uniformed officer who was searching for him. In count five, Smith is indicted for the crime of second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, a Class A misdemeanor. It is alleged in count five, that Smith intentionally obstructed, impaired or perverted the administration of law or other government function by means of intimidation, physical force or an independently unlawful act.

Shane M. VanName is indicted for the crime of first-degree criminal contempt, a Class E felony. It is alleged that on Nov. 1 while in the first block of North Street in the Town of Le Roy VanName violated an order of protection. He is accused of intentionally harassing, annoying, threatening or alarming a protected person, or subjecting the person to physical contact or threatening to do so. In count two, VanName is indicted for second-degree criminal contempt, a Class A misdemeanor. It is alleged in count two that he intentionally disobeyed a court order of protection out of Darien Town Court issued Oct. 23. In count three, is indicted again for second-degree criminal contempt. It is alleged in count three that he intentionally disobeyed a court order out of Darien Town Court to stay away from a second person at the same address on North Street in Le Roy.

Alexander L. Baldwin is indicted for third-degree grand larceny, a Class D felony. It is alleged that between November and December that Baldwin stole property from a couple -- U.S. currency valued at more than $3,000. In count two, Baldwin is accused of the same crime for receiving funds in excess of $3,000 from the couple to perform home improvements, thus creating a trust, and then appled the funds for a purpose other than the trust intended.

Christopher L. Taylor is indicted for the crime of third-degree grand larceny, a Class D felony. It is alleged that on Jan. 16 in the Town of Pembroke that Taylor stole property with a value in excess of $3,000.

Myles D. Macleod is indicted for the crime of aggravated driving while intoxicated, per se, as a Class E felony. It is alleged that on Nov. 27 on Route 77 in the Town of Darien that Macleod rode a 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle while he had a BAC of .18 percent or greater. In count two, the defendant is accused of DWI as a Class E felony for operating the motorcycle that day while he was intoxicated. In count three, Macleod is accused of aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree for riding his motorcycle that day in Darien while his driver's license was suspended or revoked by the NYS DMV Commissioner and while he was under the influence of alcohol or a drug. In count five, the defendant is indicted for circumventing a required ignition interlock device, since the motorcycle did not have one. In count five, Macleod is accused of refusing to submit to a breath test. In count six, he is accused of the violation of operating an unregistered motorcycle that day on Route 77. In Special Information filed by Genesee County District Attorney Lawrence Friedman, Macleod is accused of having been convicted of DWI as a Class E felony on Nov. 5, 2014 in Genesee County Court. The conviction forms the basis for the suspension or revocation referred to in the current indictment and it was still in effect on the day of the crimes alleged in the current indictment.

Joel Morales Cruz is indicted for the crime of aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, a Class E felony. It is alleged that on Oct. 25 in the City of Batavia that Cruz drove a 1996 Honda on Oak Street while his driver's license was suspended or revoked by the NYS DMV Commissioner. In count two, Cruz is accused of driving while intoxicated, as a misdemeanor, that day on Oak Street. In count three, Cruz is indicted for DWI, per se, as a misdemeanor. It is alleged in count three, that Cruz drove on Oak Street that day while he had a BAC of .08 percent of more. In Special Information filed by Genesee County District Attorney Lawrence Friedman, Cruz is accused of having been convicted of driving while intoxicated as a misdemeanor on April 22, 2010 in Batavia City Court and the conviction forms the basis for the suspension or revocation referred to in the current indictment and was still in effect.
