Missing teen may be in Genesee County

The Sheriff's Office is looking for the public's assistance in locating a missing teen.

The youth reported missing is Preston Daigler, 16, of Batavia.

He was last seen in Lyndonville on Nov. 7. The missing person report is out of Orleans County, but the Sheriff's Office believes he may be in Genesee County.

Preston has blond hair and blue eyes. He is 5' 9" and 150 pounds.

D Andre J. Cramer, 15, is a runaway - have you seen him?

D Andre J. Cramer, 15, is a runaway from Batavia and police believe he is in the local area.

He is 5'6" tall, 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and the missing child flier says he is of mixed race (black/white).

D Andre was last seen on Monday, Aug. 4, wearing a dark gray Nike shirt, tan shorts, gray and white sneakers and a baseball cap.

He may go by the names "Dre" or "D."

Teen from Le Roy missing

Jason Whitehead is a missing teen from Le Roy. Whitehead is missing from foster care. He's considered a likely runaway. He may have headed to Olean or Oakfield.

There is no available clothing description. He is 6' 2", 185 pounds with sandy hair and hazel eyes. If you have information that could help authorities locate Jason, call the Sheriff's Office at (585) 343-5000.

 

 

 

 

Batavia PD looking for missing 14-year-old

Police are looking for a 14-year-old boy described as a willful runaway and believed to be in Batavia.

The youth is identified as Timothy Vail. He was last seen wearing a black uniform. He has visible cuts and scrapes on his left forearm.

Timothy has green eyes and blond hair and is 5'1", 128 lbs.

Anybody with information, contact Genesee County Dispatch at 345-6350.

UPDATE: Timothy has been located and is safe.

Police seek help in locating missing teen

Police believe Justice D. Osborne, 15, of 104 Pearl St., Batavia, has run away from home and neither her parents nor police can locate her. They are asking for the public's help in finding her.

There is no indication of forcible abduction.

She is  5’2”, 140 pounds. At the present time her black hair has long straight extensions. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans and purple skate sneakers.

Anyone with information or who has seen Justice since her disappearance is asked to please call the Batavia Police at 345-6350.

Sheriff's Office seeks help in locating missing 16-year-old

A 16-year-old boy has officially been missing since Jan. 21, but Youth Officer John K. Dehm had been tracking him and had a good idea where he was, according Chief Deputy Jerome Brewster.

Now, the whereabouts of Ronald J. Murray Jr., are unknown and the Sheriff's Office is asking for the help of anyone who might know where he is.

Murray is 5' 10", 170lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen leaving Batavia High School and failed to show up for classes at BOCES.

Reported runaway may be in Batavia

Authorities are asking for help in locating a missing youth who may be in Batavia.

Nathaniel Davis, 15, may be in the company of a 17-year-old girl.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Davis reportedly is a runaway.

He is described as black with brown eyes, 5' 3", 175lbs.

Anybody with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 1-800-346-3543.

Authorities search for missing foreign exchange student

A petite foreign exchange student is reported missing and authorities are searching in and around Bowen Road in the Town of Alexander.

Didn't catch the host's address.

The person is described as 4' 7", 85 pounds, small frame.

Authorities are told to look in a nearby meadow also.

UPDATE (6:58 p.m.): Four searchers on ATVs are scouring the meadow near the residence in search of the person.

UPDATE (7:19 p.m.): Searchers planned on focusing on a trail running north/northwest of the meadow. They are bringing in a dog. However, now there's a report of a young, small female, with her hair in a ponytail and wearing a gray sweatshirt, spotted running on Route 238 (Attica Road) toward Attica. A caller said it appeared she had been running for some time. Also, she's reportedly adept at climbing trees, a skill which might prove handy if she was running away from danger.

UPDATE (7:36 p.m.) The female foreign exchange student has been located and she is safe.

UPDATE: Batavia girl reported missing found

UPDATE 4:31 p.m.: Stephanie Cooper, 15, who was reported missing earlier has been located, according to police.


Stephanie Cooper, 15, of Batavia, has been reported missing.

Stephanie was last seen between 3 and 4 p.m. Friday in the area of Richmond Avenue and Woodrow Road. Cooper may have gotten into a red van in that area.

Det. Richard Schauf said no other information is available at this time.

Stephanie is 5’2” tall, 120 pounds.
