St. Paul hosting annual tuition assistance fundraiser on June 3

St. Paul Lutheran School is holding its annual fundraiser auction at the school on Washington Avenue on June 3.

The school has been hosting the event since 1999, and it benefit's the school's Tuition Assistance Program.  

"We don't want to turn away any families away due to a financial issue," said Principal Susan Wakefield. "Many of our school families have made use of this program over the years."

There will be a live auction, basket raffle and snack shop.  Donations have come in from local businesses, school families, church members, and St. Paul alum. 

 

St. Paul Lutheran School hosting Christmas show tonight

St. Paul Lutheran School on Washington Avenue in Batavia will be hostsing a Christmas show at 6:30 p.m. Friday titled "Christmas Hang-Ups," and featuring the school's students.

 The program is directed by Jennifer Dunn, and lead roles will be played by the 5th and 6th-grade class, with other classes, Pre-K through 4th-grade, playing supporting roles.

Following the program, there will be a bake sale put on by FOLKS (Friends of Lutheran Kids) full of homemade donations to support the school.

St. Paul Lutheran School is proud to announce the Honor Roll and High Honor Roll for the 1st Marking Period of the 2021-2022 School Year.  The following students have earned the Honor Roll:

Isabella Battaglia, Benjamin Forsyth, Syvonne Holliday, Caleb, Janis, Tomas Schrader, Korina Hodges, Eli Janis, Helen Schofield, Lucy Warren, Lillian McClellan, and Lilah Guarino.

St. Paul Lutheran Church cancels services until further notice

St. Paul Lutheran Church of Batavia is closed for church services and all events until further notice. The Leadership Team will expect to meet as planned on Monday.

St. Paul school has also canceled classes.

Vendors sought for booths at St. Paul's Oktoberfest

St. Paul Lutheran Church & School in Batavia is hosting Oktoberfest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1. It will take place on the back lawn area of the church at 31 Washington Ave.

St. Paul invites all crafters, local businesses, and organizations to host a booth. If you would like a booth, contact St. Paul at 585-343-0488. Booths are $30 each.

Oktoberfest admission is free!

Participants can welcome fall in the German tradition with German food, an authentic 25-piece German band, kids' activities, crafters, a Chinese auction, and more. This is a family friendly event for all ages!
