Super rich Saudi crown prince notorious for locking up and torturing critics? nah, he totally does not have a thing to do with this.
I don't think our government let a lone Trump will really push to do much this situation. After the fawning the Saudis gave Trump in 2017 and what appears to have possibly been assistance or advice from the crown prince himself with Trump Jr in Mid 2016, one might think the Saudis have a lot of swing with the Trumps. Its not like they have not done business in the past before either. Who else would sell a whole floor of a building to a country?
Brian. "Who else would sell a whole floor of a building to a country?"
I would think the answer to that would be, a lot of people who are in the real estate business. Their job is to sell their merchandise (property), usually for the greatest amount they can get for it.
If you don't think Americans own property in foreign countries, you're deluding yourself.
Ed, no deluding here. I'm just tickled that this happens to be Saudi Arabia. One of the countries excluded from his ban and where he happens to do business/own property as well.
While it may be against an American's Rights, Property and Assets are seized by government agents everyday from accused Americans with the accused having to Prove their innocence in order to have their property returned......
That's funny... but not at all. That is why I was curious (really) how many folks who vote yes here (that damn Arab has to be guilty!) declared SCJ Kavanaugh's innocence.
Personally - I voted yes on the "belief" that the Saudi gov't (king) was involved.
I wonder how many "Kavanaugh
I wonder how many "Kavanaugh was innocent and his good name dragged through the mud - innocent until proven guilty!" people voted "Yes" on this one.
{Comment firestorm erupting in 3...2...1...} ;-)

Are you an advocate for a "guilty until you prove yourself innocent" stance?

I voted yes based on the humanitarian record that Saudi Arabia has. Also, Saudi Arabia is quite notorious for its censorship (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Censorship_in_Saudi_Arabia, https://rsf.org/en/saudi-arabia). I would not doubt one bit that they killed him with the highest echelons of the Saudi government was involved.
