Santa's Coming To Oliver's Candies

By Jeremy Liles

Santa is coming to Oliver's Candies at 211 West Main Street Batavia on November 21st. (this Saturday) from 10am till 2pm.   There will be a petting zoo, Santa (every kid gets an Oliver's Candy Cane) and the Jaycees selling hot dogs, popcorn and hot cocoa.

Bring your kids and camera's!

Ribbon Candy is ready!  Hand made candy canes, Christmas gifts and so much more . . .!

This is horrible.

Thanksgiving is a holiday and deserves its own season. Christmas needs to be pushed back into December.

Every Christmas Holiday Event is jammed into the three weeks before the 25th and it is exhausting with all the additional things to do like baking, cooking, shopping, working etc.
It is nice that a 4 hour event like this BEFORE the rush of the holidays is offered so I can take my grandchildren to see Santa and visit a petting zoo. Plus, with any luck the weather will be nice.
I will still enjoy my Thanksgiving Holiday!

What a great event! The Batavia Area Jaycees had a great day, selling out of everything!

You never know what the weather is going to be like, and finally the day was perfect for familes to take a walk from their homes to see Santa and the Petting Zoo as well.

Thank you to everyone who made the day a success!

Today was the perfect day for an outdoor event such as the petting zoo and an early visit from Santa.
The children, especially the toddlers, will never notice that Santa came before Thanksgiving. The parents, grandparents, and others who brought children were most likely thrilled that the weather cooperated.
The Batavia Area Jaycees welcome new businesses into their membership. Perhaps new people can do something to change the date for this event so it won't convenience the very public they hope to attract.
