A man wearing a hoodie and a mask entered the Le Roy Rite Aid on Friday night and demanded a clerk give him drugs.
The man claimed to have a gun, according to Le Roy Police.
The armed robbery at 151 West Main Street occurred at 8:55 p.m.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 5' 7".
When he entered the store, he reportedly approached the pharmacists and demanded drugs. He claimed to have a weapon, but no weapon was displayed.
The suspect was wearing blue jeans and a yellow hooded sweatshirt.
After exiting the store, he fled on foot, but police believe he had a car nearby.
Anybody with information that might help solve the case are asked to contact the Le Roy Police Department.
He must be a reader of The
He must be a reader of The Batavian and remembered the guy in Batavia last month.
I always thought it would
I always thought it would make more sense having these cameras closer to "eye level" for better views of people instead of from the ceiling.
The report doesn't say what drugs he left with, hopefully it was a placebo!!!!
A few things these guys
A few things these guys always forget: Someone will recognize their body posture, clothes, shoes and that they are unable to account for where they were during the time of the crime. That tan/yellow hoodie is very distinctive.
Gary, I doubt the kid/young man was after Viagra! They're after Opiates like hydrocodone (Vicodin), Oxycodone (Oxycontin), Morphine Sulfate, Dilauded and benzodiazepines like Alprazolam (Xanax) and Diazepam (Valium) or Lorezepam (Ativan).
It's no wonder more Pharmacies aren't robbed for narcotics considering the prevalence of meth in the community. Tweekers (meth users) use the benzodiazepines to "come down" from binges and to sleep. They also like mixing the opiates with the meth for a totally different high.
Chris Farley was killed by doing a drug combination called "speed balling." He mixed heroin with cocaine and injected them together.
or there just trying to get
or there just trying to get more more drugs to make meth around leroy seeing 3 meth labs were taken down
I doubt "they're" trying to
I doubt "they're" trying to get pseudoephedrine in a pharmacy robbery.
WHY AREN'T CAMERAS PLACED AT
WHY AREN'T CAMERAS PLACED AT EYE LEVEL BY THE PHARMACY COUNTERS...???
I think the cameras should be
I think the cameras should be hidden inconspicuously at eye level, knee level and and from a higher angle like this one. The cameras and the recording hardware are incredibly inexpensive now. Drive space for video capture is RIDICULOUSLY inexpensive, too.
