I've made several attempts at getting a picture of the Tonawanda Creek rail bridge at sunset. This evening, when I got there, I thought at first maybe I got there a few minutes too late. But this is probably my favorite so far (and don't be surprised if I post more of this subject if I like what I get in the future).
Could be any bridge anywhere
Could be any bridge anywhere at all, did ya get it off the internet? lol
Howard, this is one of your
Howard, this is one of your BEST photos yet!! Great Catch. That old bridge looks creepy. It seems very dangerous as well. I know a few school kids that take a short cut across it, to and from school. I worry one of them is going to fall in. Anyway Keep the pics commin How (;
My friend does some night
My friend does some night fishing near that bridge for bullhead.
Awesome picture Howard! Just
Awesome picture Howard! Just amazing. Worth framing, indeed.

Thanks, Mardell. A Nikon D90. I'm using the camera kit lens, which is 18-105mm, f5.6.
Wow, thats a great photo
Wow, thats a great photo man!! One thing though, it's almost never too late to get a shot as long as you have a tripod. You could get a cool looking shot of that by moonlight by using a tripod and long (15-30 second) exposure.
Thanks, Destin. What I'm
Thanks, Destin. What I'm hunting for is the right combination of sun, clouds and color ... and it may take a couple of months for the sun to position closer to the bridge as it comes down. Right now, it's really setting too far to the north of the bridge for what I want.
Nice, gotcha. I hate waiting
Nice, gotcha. I hate waiting for the right shot like that, but it is really rewarding when you finally get it!!
Howard, It's difficult to
Howard, It's difficult to realize the awsome clarity, resolution and color in this magnificent photo. I have walked over this bridge many times myself. "In my younger years of course". This is truly a professional accomplishment of quality. Certainly a one of a kind. Thank you for the day brightener.
