Thanking God for her safety
Thanking God for her safety is like thanking Santa for your gifts at Christmas. If God is so great, why couldn't he/she/it keep the girl from going missing in the first place? I'd rather place my thanks with the people who found her. They did all the work, after all.
I'm glad she's been found. I'd still wonder what the underlying issues are that made her go missing in the first place.
