A 14-year-old Batavia boy, if not for his age, would be facing four Class D felony charges of sexual abuse in the first degree, according to Le Roy PD.
The case has been referred to Family Court and because of the youth's age, his name was not released.
The youth is accused of subjecting a child under 11 years of age to sexual contact on at least four occasions in the past year.
I sure hope they try and find
I sure hope they try and find out who molested the 14 year old. That's usually how it happens when someone that young molests someone even younger.
Doug, public,or foil
Doug, public,or foil requests, for case info are well guarded by Family Court , but totally agree, generational abuse is common.
i went to a movie and the
i went to a movie and the scenes in it should have warrented an x rating...no wonder kids are sexually active...theres no respect for sex between two people...its taped and put in movie theaters..or its real and taped and put on the internet...
I know what you mean, Mary.
I know what you mean, Mary. I've been to PG movies and had the trailers advertising upcoming films show some pretty steamy scenes and racy "costumes," not to mention gratuitous violence. What made me uncomfortable was that there were plenty of parents and kiddies in the audience. This seems like out of sync marketing, but I doubt movies studio care.
SEX, DRUGS and ALCOHOL sells!
SEX, DRUGS and ALCOHOL sells! Our society cries Constitutional Rights violations on freedom of speech and expression. Our morals have diminished over the past few decades and our society has been desensitized through the years. The phrase, "Give an inch and they will take a mile" comes to mind. A school teaches sexual education and says it is to make kids aware. I remember they said it was to help teach kids so, teen pregnancy would go down. I see that worked real well. I had sex at 16 and now you hear about 11 or 12 years old kids having sex. When my niece was 8 years old, she claimed she had sex with a boy. Turns out that her friend of the same age gave her sexual details of a sexual encounter she claimed to have. So, my niece cited the same thing to "Be as cool and grown up as the other girl?" This is wrong in more ways than one. This is scary. However, our society glorifies sex. TV series, movies, magazines etc... Heck, TV series alone demonstrate that sex is the main component in a relationship.
Today’s relationships are not truly based on compatibility but, sex. Some may argue this but, when one cheats on the spouse they usually claim the following; they do not pay attention to me anymore or I am not in love with them anymore. In reality it is about the sexual attraction to another person. Of course there are some cases that those statements may be true. However, have you ever notice how fast people dive into another relationship shortly thereafter? Yes, someone is paying more attention to me and we are having sex! I am not in love with you anymore and I found someone else who I have more in common with and we are having sex. Biblically man and woman are meant to be fruitful. However, sex is not about having children, it is mostly about pure enjoyment.
A relationship between people is special bond base on, not just a physical level but, a mental level to. Should our mental bond be greater? Who knows but, as we get older our sex drive diminishes. Why is that? Now we have sex drugs to help us again enjoy the physical bond of sex. Really who does not love the experience of sex? Does this mean it should be the most important quality in a relationship? Some of these TV series make you believe it is possible to fall in love with someone in a months time and give them 12 different options to pick from. Once again sex is involved. How many times have we seen the relationship fall apart once they were out of the spotlight and/or they had their way with the other person?
If I could give you 101
If I could give you 101 thumbs up on this post John, I would ask for 1,000 more.
This by far is one of the best comments on this site that I have ever read.
Thanks Mark. When I was
Thanks Mark. When I was younger I met a woman who I had a strong sexual attraction to. We married four months later. Twelve years later while deployed I realized, I did not have a mental bond with her. We had three children together and I would not change that. We divorced upon my return from deployment. Initially, I just wanted to separate but, over time realized that it was not worth saving. Divorce does suck because, it is truly a mental drain on one's emotions. I cried for six months not because, I missed her but, how bad my children dealt with it. I asked myself if, I did the right thing. I went to family court and won full custody of my children whom at the time were 7, 6 and 5. Over time I realized that, it was the best decision I could ever have made for my children and me. As I was told, "Marriage should not be saved for the well-being of the children but, for the love you have for one another." My relationship failed because, I viewed sexual attraction as the most important quality in a relationship. Relationships cannot survive on that premise only.
I was bless six years later with true love. My relationship with Staci is not only a physical bond but, a mental bond. I never had such great communication ability with a woman. It is funny, that Staci is the first woman my parents liked.

A DEVIL DOG, SEMPER FIDELIS. My Grandpa was USMC 42-54. Served in South Pacific and fought on Iwo Jima. Recently found out more about his history after his passing in 2008. My oldest son borned on November 10th. I went to the Corp first but, when they found out I was only 17 wanted to get parents approval. Recruiter met my mom. Mom won and recruiter was removed from recruiting. Went to Army who wanted to throw me a pick and shovel, then the Navy who gave me no guarantee and last but not least the Air Forces whom pulled the wool over my eyes. My youngest son borned on the Air Force birthday. To this day I have more friends that are Devil Dogs than, Air Force. My first contact was Joe and Philip who were at Lackland for K-9 training for their MP units. After Philip and I fought we became friends and always met up at any fights between the USMC and USAF. Lost contact in 2003 with Philip. Not sure where he is.
