The Museum Quilt Guild will hold their fifth biennial quilt show, titled Stitches in Time, on October 15 and 16 at the St Anthony's Community center, 114 Liberty Street. The change in venue allowed them to add classes and evening lecture with renowned quiltmaker, George Siciliano. Space is available in both classes. The class for Friday is titled "Size Really Does Matter" and Saturday's class is titled "Twirling Logs". Pictures of the projects are available at George's website.
Space is still available for both classes, which run from 9 am to 4 pm both days. Cost to non- guild members is $55.00. Contact Elaine Ross at 748-4831 or elainejr@rochester.rr.com for more information or to sign up. The lecture is friday evening at 7 pm. It is open to the public. The fee for the lecture is $5.00.
The show also features 243 quilted items made my the members of the Guild, a members' boutique, vendors, quilt raffle (photo above- $1 per ticket), door prizes and a silent auction to benefit the VA medical Center in Batavia, NY.
