'The 12 Plates of Christmas' holiday season dinner by Jeanne's Table at GO ART!

"The 12 Plates of Christmas" will be presented at GO ART! by Jeanne's Table on Thursday, Dec. 12.

This Culinary Arts collaboration promises to be a great -- and delectable -- way to celebrate the holiday season.

Twelve courses of fine cuisine will be served at this small plates dinner.

Only 20 tickets will be sold.

Cost is $75 per person. Beverages not included. The venue's craft beer and wine bar will be open.

It starts at 6 p.m.

Richmond Memorial Library Foundation hosts Scrabble Tournament at GO ART!

The Richmond Memorial Library Foundation will host a Scrabble Tournament fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 7 to 9:30 p.m.! The tournament will take place at GO ART! (201 E. Main St., Batavia).

The entry fee is $35, which includes appetizers and one adult beverage. Your entry fee supports the Richmond Memorial Library Foundation, and cash bar proceeds support GO ART!

'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown' musical comedy performed at Notre Dame High School

Students at Notre Dame High School will perform "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" in the auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23.

Tickets available at the door for $8 each.

The high school is located at 73 Union St. in the City of Batavia.

"You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" is a 1967 musical comedy based on the characters of the beloved comic strip "Peanuts" by Charles M. Schulz.

'BREATHE' modern dance showcase at GCC's Stuart Steiner Theater

Directed and choreographed by GCC adjunct professor Tara Pocock, the modern dance showcase "BREATHE" will take over the Stuart Steiner Theater stage of Genesee Community College's Batavia Campus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22.

With a cast of 20 dancers comprised of members of GCC's Dance Team, the Spotlight Dance Studio, Divine Dance Studio and GCC students the show will use fog machines and strobe lighting to highlight a variety of dance genres set to music from popular hip-hop rapper Lil Jon to the pop artist Billie Eilish.

Candlelight vigil in front of City Hall, then walk to GO ART! in remembrance of those killed due to transphobic violence

A candlelight vigil will be held in front of Batavia City Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 20 as part of the International Transgender Day of Remembrance.

It begins at 6 p.m. and is intended to remember friends and loved one who have been lost to transphobic violence.

Names of victims will be read and a moment of silence shared before the walk to GO ART! for light refreshments. Reflections are welcome by all who wish to speak.

City Hall is at 1 City Centre in Downtown Batavia; GO ART! is at 201 E. Main St., Batavia.

Watch the Bills at Eli Fish and play cornhole to benefit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

If you like watching the Buffalo Bills play football on TV and enjoy cornhole for a good cause, there's a fundraiser at Eli Fish Brewing Co. in Downtown Batavia on Sunday to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Western New York.

The Nov. 10th event is being organized by Erin Worbs, who will soon be honored as one of the Foundation's WNY Rising Stars Class of 2019, which recognizes the area's outstanding young professionals.

HLOM 18th annual Wonderland of Trees opening gala

The Holland Land Office Museum is hosting its 18th annual Wonderland of Trees, sponsored in part this year by Tompkins Bank of Castile.This year’s Kickoff Gala will take place at the museum Friday, Nov. 22nd.

The event will start at 6 p.m. and is family friendly and great for all ages.  

Each year, hundreds of visitors come to the museum between November and January to view nearly 50 trees, festive pictures, and holiday displays decorated by local businesses and organizations.

St. Joseph School will host the "Popcorn Ball" from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.

The school is located at 2 Summit St. in the City of Batavia.

Food will be catered by Eli Fish Brewing Co.

Live music will be performed from 7 to 10 p.m. Dance to the sounds of "Groove."

Grace Baptist Church hosts fourth annual 'Trunk-Or-Treat' -- free candy and hot cocoa, plus more than 30 themed vehicles, wear your costume!

Grace Baptist Church will host its fourth annual "Trunk-Or-Treat" Halloween event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31 at the church, located at 238 Vine St. in the City of Batavia.
