um phil. i think you forgot
um phil. i think you forgot one. what about the one in bergen? j/k hillabush. but serously. everyone complains so bad about the blotter. i just wonder what people might say now, knowing someone well liked in the community even makes mistakes
Ian, please shut up. If
Ian, please shut up. If you've got a smart ass comment to make, make it in private and have some tact.
There is no smart ass comment
There is no smart ass comment here! Your telling me that because Brian works for the website he should be allowed to keep his name out of "on the beat". I really could care less. Brian does great work and he fessed up making a mistake. Im just saying, its funny reading people complain about the "on the beat". Half the people dont know who the people are that get charged. Everyone assumes they are guilty correct? I happen to think so. Im just curious as to what peoples opinions would be now. Thats all. Im not going after brian, or anyone. I would post the same questions if it were regarding Philip or even Howard. I'm simply just asking what peoples opinions are now. Thats it. Last time I checked, it wasn't a crime.
So why not shut your mouth and stop assuming I'm here just to make "smart ass" comments and stir up trouble
Except you are making smart
Except you are making smart ass comments and stirring up trouble.
Brian has gone above and beyond, admitted what he's done and acknowledged he was wrong. Admitting when you're wrong isn't always easy, especially something like this.
That being said, I'm disgusted with you and the few others that feel the need to keep making comments, shoving Brian's face in what's happened while turning this into a bigger problem, whatever your reasoning is. It's still rude.
It's childish, pathetic, vapid people like the handful of the userbase here that end up making real time comments on online news sites impractical. Stuff like this is exactly why comments on the Daily News website have to be approved before they show up.
Lately, just seeing the things people say in comments in some of the popular articles, even outside the On the Beat articles is just appalling. I honestly doubt most of you would be running your mouths if the person you're insulting is standing in front of you, ready to throw you into the ground.
The fact that I've had to say all this is just... ugh. There aren't words for how sad and pathetic some of you act.
And at this point, I'm done
And at this point, I'm done with this flame war. I've said what needs to be said and now I'm stepping out. I frequent this site for the news, not the high school-esque pissing and moaning.
I've talked with Brian
I've talked with Brian before/during/after many football games. I'm not insulting anyone. If Brian just so happen to be standing in front of me right now as I type, I would continue typing. Let me state this again. THIS IS NOT ABOUT BRIAN HILLABUSH.
I'm just seeking opinions, I'm not shoving anyones face in. Your just making a huge deal out of nothing. Let it go.
If your so concerned about peoples opinions and comments, why not ask to make it so these have to be approved first also?
but yea, whatever. it done.
but yea, whatever. it done. sorry if brian was offended. i think he's a great writer, keep up the good work
Grow up. Or take it outside
Grow up. Or take it outside BOYS. When you have lived enough life to debate intelligently then you can reconsider the fine art of the pissing match.
That's stereotypical (enough
That's stereotypical (enough to make me reply), but completely wrong. Intelligent debates are fueled by intelligence, not age. Age is just attributed to intelligence but doesn't determine who can and cannot debate. Regardless, you can still be old and be a complete idiot. I'll show a little maturity and not name any individuals in particular.
Based on several comments I've seen you make, you're in no position to criticise either of us.
When you have written
When you have written enough to punctuate intelligently, then you can participate in a pissing contest.
