A car has hit a utility pole on Route 98 near Batavia-Elba Townline Road, Elba.
It's unknown if there are injuries at this time.

UPDATE 6:30 a.m.: A caller on location reports no injuries and minimal damage.
A man has been struck by a vehicle in the driveway of a location on Tower Hill Road, Byron.
The man suffered a head laceration but is conscious.

A motor-vehicle accident with minor injuries, but blocking traffic, is reported on Attica Road in Alexander, between Townline Road and Bowen Road.
Alexander fire dispatched.
UPDATE 8:13 a.m.: A first responder reports extremely icy conditions. Caution is advised.
UPDATE 8:30 a.m.: A secondary accident on Attica Road, a fender-bender, is reported.

UPDATE 12:45 p.m. (by Howard): Minor injuries. The other vehicle involved (besides the silver car above) was a red Dodge Ram. It had far less damage.
Fire police from East Pembroke and Indian Falls are called to shut down eastbound traffic on Akron Road at Wyman Road. There is a jackknifed tractor-trailer blocking the roadway. Law enforcement is on scene.

A tractor-trailer has jackknifed on Clinton Street Road and hit a utility pole. A second vehicle may be involved.
The road is blocked. Power is out in the area.
All occupants are out of the vehicles.
The accident is reported in the area of 5106 Clinton Street Road, near Stringham Drive.

UPDATE 9:41 p.m. (back from the scene): An eastbound tractor-trailer that was fully loaded lost traction on a snowy road and jackknifed. A red pickup truck that was also eastbound became wedged under the trailer. The passenger side of the cab was completely crushed. Fortunately, there was no passenger. The driver had a cut on his hand and a complaint of arm pain. There's no suitable tow trucks available in Genesee County, so trucks are coming from Monroe County. A National Grid crew is also needed to replace the utility pole before the truck can be moved. Route 33 will likely be closed for some time yet.
A two-car accident with minor injuries is reported at 1486 Roberts Road. It is not blocking traffic. Alabama fire and Mercy medics are responding.
A two-car accident is reported at mile marker 381.5 on the westbound Thruway. A person is complaining of some neck and head pain. Le Roy fire and ambulance are responding and are told to use caution upon approach because several vehicles are off the roadway in the area. One engine from Stafford is asked to stand by in Le Roy's fire hall.
A vehicle has struck a pole and the pole is down along with wires at 6867 East Bethany-Le Roy Road. Unknown injuries, but the drive is out of the vehicle. Le Roy fire and ambulance responding.

A car has reportedly become stuck under a truck at West Main Street and Clay Street, Village of Le Roy.

A car vs. tractor-trailer accident is reported at the intersection of Route 20 and Alleghany Road. Unknown injuries, but it is believed the car is pinned underneath the tractor-trailer. Darien Fire Department and medics are responding. Mercy Flight in Buffalo is on a ground standby.
UPDATE 4:43 p.m.: Injuries are reported to be minor.
A wreck involving at least two vehicles is reported at 3238 W. Main Street Road in the Town of Batavia. The location is just west of Wortendyke Road. Law enforcement on scene requested two ambulances. East Pembroke fire and Mercy medics are responding.
UPDATE 6:07 p.m.: One person was taken to UMMC. East Pembroke is back in service.

A two-car accident, unknown injuries, is reported 10978 Alexander Road (Route 98) north of Stroh Road. Alexander fire and ambulance are responding.
A one-car accident is reported on the eastbound Thruway at mile marker 386.3. The car is off the roadway and the female driver is injured and unresponsive, according to the caller to dispatch. Town of Batavia and Mercy medics are responding.
UPDATE 3:40 p.m.: The male patient is being transported to the hospital via ambulance and CPR is in progress.
Southbound Route 77 is being shut down at Darien Center (Route 20) because of a motor-vehicle accident in Bennington, Wyoming County.
